There's plenty of room outside for your canine companion to run around. The quiet, wooded lot brings nature to your back door so take advantage of the expansive decks for ultimate relaxation. Gently glide in the porch swing, soak up the afternoon sun, enjoy lunch at the covered picnic table, or chill out in the sunken hot tub under a sky bursting with stars after a great day at the beach.

Inside, the large, open floor plan brings the kitchen, dining, and living areas together for a warm, connected feeling. Gather in the living room with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, and cozy furniture situated around a large Flat-Screen TV. Jam out with the Stereo/CD player or pick out one of the books from the bookshelf for an afternoon of reading. There's ample space in the huge kitchen with beautiful wood cabinets and modern appliances making it easier than ever to whip up a delicious meal. Enjoy barstool seating for 5 in the kitchen and additional seating around the dining table for 6. A large den with TV/DVD, bright skylights, and a desk is a great place to escape when you need to pull out your laptop to get a little work done on the high-speed internet. Step into the spacious Master Queen Bedroom and be prepared for your worries to melt away. Enjoy a ceiling fan for comfort, an en-suite Master Bathroom, and deck access through the sliding door that lets in plenty of natural light. Upstairs, you'll rest easy in one of the other two bedrooms with ceiling fans and vaulted ceilings that share access to a full bathroom. One bedroom contains a Queen Bedroom with private deck access and the other features a Queen Bed and 1 Bunk Bed.

We had a great family vacation here! The property itself is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and was very welcoming with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The deck and spa were definite highlights and were well-maintained.However, the property needs some attention to detail. The outside was quite overgrown, which detracted from the initial curb appeal. Inside, we noticed it was a little dusty with visible spiderwebs. Later in the week, we also had an issue with ants in the kitchen.A few logistical issues arose:· Parking: Be aware that the closest lot is not the correct one for visitors for this rental. We unfortunately learned this the hard way with a parking ticket.· Unexpected Visits: The cleaners arrived unannounced during our stay to change the air filters, which was a surprise.· Communication: As a hurricane was potentially approaching, I had to proactively call for evacuation information rather than it being timely provided like the alerts coming thru on my daughter’s cell phone.Despite these issues, we truly did have a great time. This is a good property with a fantastic layout for a family; it just needs a bit more care with cleaning, maintenance, and guest communication to be excellent.

we vacationed with friends of ours from nh. we currently reside in the clt area. when we got to the property, we liked how secluded it was. The outside landscaping couldve been better, just minor clean ups to make it look more presentable. We did find a tick. Inside, it was beautiful. A minor door knob loose, but overall, great place to stay.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed each day. You are close enough to stores and restaurants, but still felt like you staying somewhere rural area. 40 mins to get to a horse tour. Beautiful hot tub to relax in after a long day. Easy walk to beach access. Beautiful neighborhood to walk around

Spacious inside, outside not maintenance, yard overgrown and unusable, outside covered in Cob webs, cockroaches, ants, , spiders, bugs inside , ac not that great, outside shower is a safety hazard- electric box inside of it and rust water, definitely won’t book again. But loved the OBX and will be back!

The house itself is mostly fine. It's a nice house in a nice area, close to the beach. The problem comes with the cleaning that was performed, we had roaches everywhere in the house, seeing multiple at a time and killing several. The exterior looked like it was overtaken by spiders even in areas of higher foot traffic, like the front door and the back deck where people would like to sit. The lawn that the listing touted as an area for dogs to run around and play was overtaken by foliage, weeds and trees and looked as if it hadn't been mowed in months, if not years. The front yard was mowed sometime this year, but still had grass up to an average male's knees. This probably contributed to the roach issue in the house. The upstairs bathroom also didn't have locks and was shared between two rooms, which isn't exactly ideal in any situation. The room with bunk beds mini split AC would only cool the room between midnight and 6am, while blowing warm air the rest of the day, so it would be very warm until the middle of the night and then be freezing cold. Overall, while a nice enough house, it was far too expensive for the myriad of problems that we ran into.
