Welcome to The Hidden Sanctuary! I have thoughtfully remodeled this eco-friendly 1950s bungalow to be your personal desert oasis in Central Phoenix. Enjoy a beautiful private fenced yard with a cozy fire pit. Whether you are sipping espresso on the covered porch, working remotely in the sunlit dining area, or taking a quick 10-minute walk to the vibrant Melrose District, this retro 1-bedroom casita is the perfect quiet getaway for solo travelers or couples!

- Living Room: I designed this open concept space to be incredibly inviting, featuring a 50-inch HDTV with Hulu, a Bluetooth sound system, and a large north-facing window that floods the room with beautiful natural light.

- Kitchen & Dining: Cooking is a breeze in this kitchen equipped with brand new appliances, a gas stove, an air fryer, and a large dining area perfect for meals or remote work.

- Bedroom Area: The sleeping space boasts a high-quality adjustable Serta mattress, room-darkening shades, and a large walk-in closet with a convenient European washer and dryer.

- Bathroom: You will love getting ready in the sparkling clean, beautifully restored retro 1950s full bathroom.



Need to knows

- Sleeping Arrangements: The casita accommodates up to two guests on our adjustable bed. Please note that this is a Double size mattress, which can be a bit of a snug fit for two taller adults, so please plan your sleeping arrangements accordingly.

- Parking Logistics: You will have one designated parking spot on your side of the shared driveway. If you have a second vehicle, street parking is available.



Guest Access:

I want your arrival to be as seamless as possible, so you will enjoy self check-in using a secure lockbox. I will send the door code the morning of your arrival!



The Neighborhood:

Our bungalow is located in the cozy, historic North Encanto neighborhood right in the heart of Central Phoenix. I absolutely love the beautiful culture, mature trees, and distinctive architecture here. You will be just a quick 10-minute walk from the famous Melrose District, which is packed with fantastic vintage shops, trendy cafes, bakeries, and great nightlife.



Getting Around:

Phoenix is a sprawling city, so having a personal car or using rideshare apps like Uber is definitely the best way to explore! Depending on traffic, you are just a 15-minute drive from Downtown Phoenix, 15 minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport, and about 20 minutes from the stunning hiking trails at Camelback Mountain.



Other Things to Note:

- Bonus Pool Access: As a bonus amenity, you do have access to the property's main swimming pool (optional pool heating is available for a $40 daily fee). Please note this pool is shared with the guests renting the main front house.



- House Rules To keep things running smoothly, a refundable security deposit is required (just reach out to me to confirm the amount). Because we love our neighbors and want to be respectful of the front house guests, we strictly enforce quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Lastly, to maintain the pristine condition of the casita, we have a strict no pets, no smoking, and no parties policy.



Interaction with Guests:

While self check-in gives you total privacy to settle in, I pride myself on being a highly responsive host! I am always just a quick app message, text, or phone call away if you need any local recommendations or run into any questions during your stay.

    The unit was clean and quiet. We didn't spend much time there, but enjoyed the privacy when we had down time. There is a pool, but we didn't use it. There is an attached unit and they can also use the pool area. We ate all our meals out, but there is a fully stocked kitchen and lots of supplies. Look around and make sure you look behind all the doors and cabinets--there's a lot to find. Thanks for the great stay.
