Loved the game room

This home was perfect for our family. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Florence area.

The house is exactly as pictured and stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. There is even a printer to work remotely if necessary. We were in town for my parents' 50th Anniversary celebration, and the house was perfect for providing extra space to prepare for the event. The gameroom was a nice touch, it was fun to come in a play PacMan at the end of a busy day.The host was easy to contact when necessary and very helpful. The house guest book is loaded with useful information on places to shop, eat, and enjoy Florence.The comments about the driveway were helpful as I drive a small (low to the ground) sports car, but I was able to navigate the driveway without any damage to my vehicle, as I feared when reading other reviews. The house is located on a narrow street, and there is construction on the roads and a few houses in the neighborhood going on, but overall, I found the community to be very charming.I would definitely rent this house again.

We stayed at the house for the Darlington race weekend. It was pretty close to the racetrack and was great size for what we needed. Not the best area but the house was great.

The accuracies of the reviews for this property are all on point. It is a beautifully remodeled bungalow in Historic Florence. The touches are all very elegantly and tastefully done. All the technology inside the house was easy to figure out, and it was very quiet and peaceful. The only negative feedback I would leave is that it would be really nice if the neighbors would put a bit more care into the appearance of their properties, and especially the neighbor across the street, who has abandoned a pickup truck parked on the street directly across from this property's driveway, making it very difficult to back out of the driveway in a large vehicle, which you also need to get up over the steep entrance to the drive. I could barely make it out one morning due to that vehicle's location and the angle I had pulled in at, also because of the truck. Most towns have ordinances prohibiting street parking, so if the neighbor is unwilling to move the vehicle, it seems like it would be an easy call to make to have it towed.

Hickory Haven was absolutely beautiful home, clean smelled fresh and you walk in amazed, it doesn’t look that big from the outside but it was perfect huge inside! Yes my initial thought was “oh my” the neighborhood however no issues it was quite and the neighbors were nice! These craft homes are getting make overs but one house at a time, that it why you can’t judge a book by the cover! No one bothered us I do wish the road was wider but that didn’t make us unhappy, the home was cute and pleasantly homey! Shaquan’s met all our needs and even let us check in an hour early! And the bed alone and the fit for a queen bathroom was so worth it! The beds were the most comfortable for me and I suffer with a bad back! It’s very secure and just overall a good place to stay! The drive way can use an upgrade but we drive a suv so that wasn’t an issue but sedans might have a problem on the steep incline getting on the drive way! We will be back

This house is adorable on the inside. The location in this neighborhood is sketchy at best. I would not feel comfortable with my wife leaving the house alone to go for a walk. The neighbor houses are a mess and we had barking dogs nightly and even someone ringing our doorbell on Friday night. There is a truck that has not moved in years parked immediately across from the driveway making it even more difficult to get into this difficult driveway. No warning about the need for a SUV to navigate the driveway before our check-in email. Trying to access this driveway with a sedan would be potentially dangerous to your vehicle. Thankfully, we had an SUV. Parking on the street might be safe but not a lot of room down this street and I would not want to park on this street. Internet or WiFi was not good. I am dependent on it for work and it froze multiple times every day! this happened with watching TV as well as it would just stop and give the spinning circle of death for a minute or two during our viewing multiple times per day. It is not 2 minutes from McLeod Medical Center as described, more like 8-10 minutes unless you have a helicopter. Again, the house is adorable, clean, well stocked, and well maintained on the inside. Location, internet/WiFi issues and driveway access were a very real problem for us.

Our stay in Florence at this VRBO was simply amazing! Cleanliness was 10/10. Amenities were great! It was fully stocked . Game room was an added plus! It was comfortable and very well decorated and very well put together for the comfort of all who desires a home filled environment. The character of this home was superb! My family and I really enjoyed ourselves! We will definitely choose to stay here again . Host communication was excellent! Check in and out was easy an convenient.

We wanted to stay in the downtown Florence hotel and eat at the restaurant but the hotel was fully booked, so we got this house and I’m so glad we did! It’s updated and furnished very lovingly and it felt like home for my best friend and our daughters. It was super close to the renovated Downtown area so we could get to everything with a quick drive or Uber. The house has everything you need for a comfy weekend or week. Also, the master bathroom was divine! The neighborhood is fine- a few of the houses on the street have been updated as well. Cute little area and close to the park, although it was too cold during our stay to do much walking. Owners were very communicative through the Vrbo app and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again. Leigh
