Hershey's Hideaway: A Tranquil Retreat on the Hill

Kitchen was great. Basement was awesome. Very clean. Quiet. Nice helpful owner. Beautiful yard.

We had a very nice stay here. Everything was exactly as described. It was very conveniently located to Hershey shopping and dining.We were also able to check in early which was a nice bonus.Dinner at Lazarro’s was also great!

Very clean, my kids loved hanging out and enjoying the activities in basement. Great location in less than 10 minutes can be at hershey park, grocery stores and restaurants, yet away from downtown to where can enjoy down time with out alot of noise. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

This house was the perfect distance to town but still felt like you were in the country. The basement was a cool bonus also.

Our stay was fantastic. The house was absolutely immaculate, one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exactly as described, but honestly the pictures don’t do it justice at all.The host was very accommodating and kind when we needed a slightly later checkout, which we really appreciated. The house smelled fresh and clean from the moment we walked in, and you could tell a lot of care goes into maintaining it.The firepit was perfect for relaxing at night and really added to the overall experience. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-kept place to stay.

The host is very accommodating and committed to making sure your stay is great. Love the house and the area. Very quiet and comfortable with lots of room and they have everything you need there.

The Good: House was spacious and comfortable for our weekend stay. The living room had a large sectional couch, and large dining table. The kitchen was well stocked, with all utensils, pans, coffer maker, etc... Very important was that the house was very clean. We really appreciate the cleanliness of everything. The beds were a good size and comfortable mattresses. The location was about 15 minutes from Hershey. Communication with the property owner was excellent, and no issues with check-in or check out. They even accommodated us for a late check-out, which was very helpful. It snowed during the weekend, and they made sure to have someone clear the snow off the driveway. Thank you!The bad: only a couple things we can suggest needs improvement. First, better pillows. The ones that were there were very thin polyester pillows, and not comfortable at all. We wish we had brought our own. Second, the shower head from the only shower was terrible low flow. We weren't able to feel like we got a good shower with such low water pressure coming out. These were the only downsides to the property, and can easily be rectified by the owner.

The basement was a great addition for kids and teens to hang out and have their own space. Although we were there in the winter, the backyard is a wonderful added addition! The home was clean and provided everything we needed. Host was more then accommodating and was kind enough to leave holiday decorations up for our family dinner. Super close to Hershey Park but far enough out of town to enjoy the quiet.

Everything was honestly great! Very cozy but plenty room. Our kids LOVED the basement, and didn’t even want to go adventure the area (where we are from), but wanted to stay downstairs and play. They were very accommodating from check in to check out, including coordinating a shovel and salt for the weather we had. Will most likely use in future visits. Thank you again and God bless!

What a great weekend! Great communication from the host. The house had everything you could ask for to make you feel right at home. Very quiet and peaceful area. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our hosts were very accommodating. The house was very clean with all of the amenities at a home away from home. It is located in a nice, safe, and quiet neighborhood. We will be returning for our third year in a row, next year. Thank you so much to Tabitha for making our stay comfortable!

The house felt really clean and bright. It was perfect for what we needed. It was a bit hard to find in the dark from the direction we were coming from though, as the house number at the end of the driveway was angled the other way… overall a super great location for a weekend at Hershey Park/Indian Echo Caverns.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cute, cozy, and comfortable home! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with family and friends, very clean, well-equipped, and incredibly accommodating. The location was ideal, just a quick 10 minute drive to Hershey Park, which made going back and forth super easy. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

We loved our stay at Hershey Hideaway! It was well located for our recent trip to Hersheypark as a family. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The area was quiet for our kids to sleep well. Beds were comfortable.

We’ll definitely stay here again! House was so pretty and clean, and had everything we needed. There was even a bowl of Hershey chocolate bars and kisses waiting for us! We stayed for my daughter’s 4th birthday party weekend and she absolutely loved the basement: ping-pong, skee-ball, arcade basketball! Host had excellent communication. Soft towels and comfy beds 10/10

Great house that really has everything you need with lots of extras. The kitchen is well appointed with everything needed to cook whatever. The outdoor space is fantastic and the basement is great with lots of games. The location is perfect and nice and quiet . The house is very close to everything.We really enjoyed it!

We had 7 in our party. The house was just as advertised. Beautifully decorated and clean. It had everything we needed and plenty of room for the kids to hangout. Very close to Hershey Park. We would definitely recommend!!

Would stay here again for sure! It was perfect for our family of adults and teens. Very clean, comfy beds, and comfortable and welcoming living room and patio. We loved all the natural light, and appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. We really appreciate how accessible it was as well. A member in our family was on crutches/walker, and it was helpful that the walkway from the driveway was level, the bathroom had grab bars, and there was ample clear space to maneuver. The owners were excellent communicators and left a cute welcome basket to greet us upon arrival. They put a lot of effort into the details and we really appreciated all they had set up for guest. We highly recommend this home!

We had an amazing stay at this location. The house was closely located to the park but far enough away that you are out of the crowds.

We were very impressed with our stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and everything was very clean. The cherry on top, though, was the basement. If you have kids, the basement can't be beat!The only downside to this house is the shower's water pressure, but the rest of the house more than made up for it!

We stayed in this lovely home for four days right before Christmas while we visited Hersheypark. The house was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and still was very convenient to the park and to downtown Hershey. We've stayed in many houses on our Hershey visits and this one had the best location. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. Many aspects to the home seemed new. Beds were very comfortable. Probably the best thing for us with our four teenagers was the game room basement. There was ping pong, foosball, a large tv for video games, and even one of those basketball shot games (pop-a-shot?) The kids were thrilled. Communication with the owner was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay for our annual Christmas shopping trip. The house was lovely and we felt like we were at home. The beds are extremely comfortable, plenty of seating in the living room and dining room and we had a great time playing games in the game room. The Christmas tree and the candy were a nice surprise. Everything was just right and we would love to visit again.

This property was was perfect for our 2 families to stay at while in town for a soccer tournament The owner responded quickly to messages, the house was super clean and cozy, perfect game room for teens, provided everything you could need(coffee, detergent, firewood,linens, etc.) We will definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for our short weekend away. it is an adorable house, it was very clean and the kids had a great time with all of the games in the basement.

I booked a few days before my family and I were leaving Buffalo to spend a couple days in Hersey for mini vacation before my kids returned to school. The whole process from booking to arriving was very easy and Tabitha stayed in contact with me right up till the day we left. The property was very clean and everything we needed was there when we arrived. The bedrooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. My kids loved the time they spent in the finished basement area playing basketball and ping pong. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely book to stay here again in the future!

The property was conveniently located to Hershey Park. It was updated, very clean, fully equipped, and well maintained. The space was comfortable and homey. The finished basement provides space and amusement for rainy-day activities. It is a perfect location for a family trip to Hershey.
