Met by Rita the day after we had arrived as we were very late. She had bought food for us to eat when we arrived. Very homely property and a nice stroll to local coffee shop and to the world famous prison

Heritage on Burt is an easy walk into Freo to check out the shops, Freo markets, hotels and restaurants. The house was very well stocked with supplies for breakfast and some surprise treats. Our stay was very comfortable.

The property is a lovely old heritage property which we had to ourselves. Rina met us at the property and walked us through to get us settled, even providing a number of items including bread, milk and cereal for our use. We also made use of the outside chairs to have our coffee on the verandah on sunny afternoons. The street in general is very quiet, only having some activity when the army museum across the road was open to the public a few days each week. We parked our hire car across the road every night and there was no concern as to any risk to the car, particularly as the museum had floodlights which lit the side of the road where we parked, but the lights did not impact the house. As to the location, the house was only a short drive to the centre of fremantle, including the museums, the waterfront, and the train station which provides direct service to perth. My wife and I enjoyed staying at 17 Burt Street very much and would certainly stay there again if we return to fremantle in the future.

This was a truly lovely stay. The house has a wonderful mix of heritage charm and comfort, with a quiet, sunny garden that made it feel like a little oasis. It's spacious and thoughtfully maintained, making it easy to relax and feel at home.Rina was a warm and responsive host, always easy to contact, very helpful and incredibly generous. She went above and beyond, stocking the house with thoughtful touches like milk, fruit, bread, muesli, and even a bottle of wine on arrival. It made us feel immediately welcomed. While it's a little further out from the town centre (around a 20–30 minute walk), we found that having a bike made it very manageable and even enjoyable. If you're not keen on walking or cycling, that might be something to consider. All in all, a fantastic place to stay and we would happily return.

Good location. About a 20 minute walk into Fremantle. Kitchen is well appointed and Rina, out host went over and above to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and more! She was also very easy to communicate with. We had a great stay.

We loved our stay in Heritage on Burt. It feels like a real home. It was super comfortable and very clean. There was plenty of space inside and out to relax. The kitchen was stocked for us too. Laundry facilities too. Rina was always available by WhatsApp if we needed anything. We stayed 15 nights and loved it. Highly recommended.

Best place we have stayed in Fremantle and we've stayed in quite a few. So cozy and charming. Perfect if you want a quiet and peaceful time. This is the classic Fremantle experience. And it is super close to everything without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. You can walk everywhere. Can't recommend enough.
