This is a well maintained property in an area to get away from all the business of the city . It is close enough to larger cities for dining and other recreation great value
The property was great, internet was adequate for the location and having satellite TV helped. The Hot tub was a little small but it works. If you are staying here to travel to Marquette and back it's about a 70 mile round trip drive. It's doable, you just have to plan ahead and be aware of the gas costs. Great value for the price though and if you want to just get away from everyone this is a good spot.
We could ride our side-by-side from the house to thousands of places to hunt grouse and Woodcock
My fishing buddy and I did our annual trip to the UP and choose this location. The home more than met our needs, very clean, kitchen was very good, beds were comfortable, and it had Direct TV that gave us some entertainment in the evening after a long day on the lake. It was located in what i would describe as a quiet Blue-Collar neighborhood with a school just down at the end of the street. The only thing that woke me up in the night was some coyote's howling in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.
It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for and close driving to many beautiful areas.
House was clean and very spacious. Very quiet neighborhood and a good location. We enjoyed the hit tub every day that we were there. We would definitely stay again!
We were attending a family Celebration of Life and this provided us with a place to unwind, relax and get away from the commotion of the huge gathering. It was nice having a firepit to sit around and have wine in the evening and there was plenty of room to spread out for alone time. The hot tub was an added surprise, though we did not use it as the weather was very warm and we swam in the nearby Michigammee River. After initial confusion on my part at check-in (it's a duplex and I went to the wrong side, which is undergoing remodeling) we were able to enjoy ourselves and appreciate our stay.
Comfortable and clean
Very happy with everything ! Perfect and simple to book and get to..we loved it
Property reflected the yooper charm...simple, perfectly adequate, nothing flashy. Everything was clean and functional, and exactly what we needed for work and relaxation. Hosts were readily accessible, helpful, and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
I stayed here while working at Tilden mine. I stayed 12 days. I worked nights and slept all day. Very nice setup, house was furnished with everything you need. I did alot of cooking and grilling while here. Super nice to have laundry available to use. I was very comfortable and felt like at home, prices where better than area hotels.
Overall the trip was fantastic
This property is as listed - clean and comfortable. I stayed in the area for the polar roll bike race in ishpeming and the location worked well for me. I appreciate having my dogs along.
Very nice company to work with. Simple procedures for check in and out. Clearly maintained space. House is old, but super cute. Great for a simple weekend away that we were looking for.
My father in-law & I hunt in the area. This place was a perfect spot for us to stay. It’s near the area we hunt and it was clean, warm, & comfortable to stay in. When we were there we had everything we needed to cook, and the TV had football on 24-7. I really couldn’t have asked for anything more. It’s a great little spot and I’ve been trying to convince my wife to rent it during the summer and take the whole family up to spend time in the wilderness.
My family and I enjoyed our stay. There was more than enough room for the five of us and our dog!
The fall colors were awesome. Visited a few waterfalls. The house could use some TLC.
Was a good location for the things we did. Very quiet neighborhood. Place was cute and host responded quickly to helping fix WiFi after storm.
Nice and quiet neighborhood. Beds very uncomfortable. And steep climb to bedrooms.
Great place to stay, everything was as described or better. We did a lot of driving and exploring the area so my only complaint was that we didn't have much time to spend relaxing at this cute house. The host was super great, we couldn't get the washer started one morning and we texted the property manager and got a reply right away! They told us where the fuse box was and everything was very clearly labeled we had no more issues. It was less than 20 minutes from us discovering the problem to it being fixed!
