The host was quick to respond when I had questions and was very helpful with recommendations. This was a great location and easily walkable to restaurants and the train station. The trolley picked us up right at our front door. We had a great stay- thank you!

Inside of house was clean. The backyard and screened in porch was dirty. Screened porch needed to be sweep, leaves and dirt. Backyard was FULL of walnuts, leaves and twigs.

We loved the old charm of the craftsman style home in the heart of Hermann. The backyard was wonderful with a screened in porch which was ideal for hanging out during the cool mornings and evenings. Also it was a great location within walking distance of several restaurants in the heart of downtown. I would definitely recommend.

The location was great. The kitchen worked okay even though there was no dishwasher. I will not list the negatives.

Great house in perfect location.

Great weekend stay. The house was very comfortable, clean with short walking distance to restaurants and shops.Host was wonderful, easy communication and quick response to any questions. The neighborhood was convenient, but across the street was having a very loud party with loud music and raised voices late into Saturday night and the house next door had a dog that sat at the fence and barked at us anytime we tried to use the back porch or fire pit area. No fault of our rental just something to keep in mind, not sure if those homes are rentals or residencesOverall, a great stay and would stay again when in the area.

Very comfortable and roomy house. Very nice updated kitchen and appliances. Great outside screened in porch. It was very hot so we spent a lot of time inside where it was cool. Kelly was very responsive and personable! Only called for a couple minor things. She lives nearby.

The cutest historic house! We loved that it was right in town and we could walk to shops and restaurants. Just to note, the curtains in the upstairs bedrooms are sheers, so if you're sensitive to light while you sleep, you may want to pack a sleep mask with you. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast, and checking in and out was easy. I'd book again!

The house is small but fits easily 4 couples (8people), which was important to us. Location is fantastic, short walk to restaurants, coffee shops and dollar store. Unfortunately the upstairs has no bathroom, however the downstairs has two bathrooms and each with a showers. The communication was great too, and always friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful place

This house was adorable and had the right amount of charm. We stayed for 2 nights for a girls trip. The owner had great communication and we enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located right downtown, so easy to walk anywhere we wanted and the trolley picked us up at the front door. We especially loved the screened in porch area and swing. Was a great space with lots of charm. Highly recommend!

Helen’s House was absolutely perfect for our group of 7. Location, charm, ease of everything, helpfulness of host, etc. Will absolutely stay again if visiting Hermann!

We arrived at Helen’s House on Friday and found the house to be very clean. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies as well as bathroom supplies with ample room in the kitchen to work. The house is decorated with a few things that looked like they were from the original home and some very modern! What a great surprise to find this beautiful place to spend with family and friends. We will definitely keep in mind for next time.

The place was great but the location is even better. Super easy to get to restaurants and wineries right from the house.

A group of friends were looking for more than just our usual monthly Ladies' Night Out and thought Hermann would be nice. Helen's House was the absolute perfect venue. Clean, cozy, well cared for little house. Convenient to everything we hoped to do. This may well begone our must-do-again place.

Kelly was kind enough to call me and provide check in details. The house was perfect for our group of 6. Adorable back screened in area and patio made it enjoyable to BBQ our dinner.

We came to town for a wedding and this house was perfect for our weekend stay. Great location, clean, well stocked and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again!

Helen’s House was perfect! A charming home, decorated simply and beautifully. Outdoor spaces were wonderful as well. Great location. I highly recommend! Only one drawback, the bathroom could have been cleaner, but overall, we had a lovely time and would absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed staying in the historic district and being close to many restaurants and tasting rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed, including several corkscrews. We also spent quite a bit of time hanging out in the screened in porch area. There is a swinging daybed that became my favorite lounging spot. We didn't need anything from the hosts during our stay, but they checked in and made sure we had everything we needed.

For whatever is lacking in curb appeal, the inside far makes up for it! Very nice accomodations, well thought out for space and convenience. Easy walk to resuaurants, shops, trolly. Thank you, Kelly!
