Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled as a group of 17 to this property. Kids aged 2-11. The property was excellent, easy to get to, clean, and provided great beach and home amenities. We appreciated the gates on the deck and walkway for little ones, the ample sized pool, and having plenty of interior space for everyone.

Was disappointed that the refrigerator's ice maker didn't work and we had to use a portable one that was provided on the wet bar. The dishwasher was very small and old, difficult to use. We found dead worms in the bottom of the pool and had to wait a full day for someone to come, clean and treat. However the person who did come was very courteous.

Our vacation plans required an oceanfront house with a minimum capacity of 14 people, 6 Bedrooms, 5 baths, all linens, and a private pool.We have successfully worked with Garden City Reality several times in the past, so we reached out to them again.We reserved the house in early December with a small holding fee. Two additional rental payments later (March and May) we were set for a wonderful vacation.

The beach is quiet and clean, the pool is great for cooling off without getting in the sand.The decks were great for hanging out on. For a home that accommodates 22 people, there could have been more seating outside (only 2 loungers for the pool area). Overall a very comfortable place to stay. Location is perfect and there is plenty of parking.There were some items left behind that I think the rental company could have taken care of before we arrived but the house itself was wonderful.

Everyone loved settling down at night all together, cuddled up to watch TV. The pool was also appreciated by everyone. We loved that it was taken care of every couple of days. An added bonus to our stay was watching the loggerhead turtles hatch from their next at the end of the stairway. What a special time moment to witness.We will definitely try to rent this property again in two years when our family vacations together again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the convenient beach access and location to shops and restaurants. The house had not been thoroughly cleaned or maintained. There were dried spills on the floor when ottomans were moved to access the sofa. One coffee pot had dried burnt coffee in the carafe. A light bulb was out in the bar area downstairs. The house needs general maintenance-interior paint peeling, rusting shower bar and rings in one bathroom, many areas of old water damage on ceiling, broken locks on exterior slider door and interior bedroom door, broken slat on outdoor rocking chair which left exposed screw for example. Maintenance responded to the items that needed immediate attention. However there was cleaning we needed to attend to in order to use the house. We love the location and amenities, but would be hesitant to rent again unless we were sure the house was inspected for cleanliness and maintenance. Would not recommend to a friend without assurance or cleanliness and updated maintenance

The recently renovated deck and walkway to the beach were great. Also appreciate the new sofa and additional kitchen items.In addition to the great house, Bob from Garden City Realty was such a pleasure to work with.

The lights on the walkway to the ocean didn't work, the shower by the ocean walkway didn't work, neither were fixed while we were there. An AC repair guy showed up unannounced, it would have been nice to be notified by the realty company before he arrived. The filters to the ac unit were really covered in dust, they were changed out immediately. The lights on the deck didn't work but were changed out very quickly. The ceilings had some water damage in a few areas that were discolored concerning for mold. The house fit our needs, the pool and hot tub were lovely. The kitchen was well stocked and worked well for the 15 people there. The furniture was nice and the beds were comfortable. Parking was ample and the views were amazing.

The biggest issue was with out of date everything. The door handle for the sliding door broke during our stay. Some lights didn’t work. The deck was old and falling apart. For sure the house could use a little TLC.

When they didn't come the second time, I called the Office and they said they were going to send them, and that never happened. We couldn't use the hot tub first two days because it was so murky. Paid a lot of money. Very disappointed.
