We had an incredible stay and would book this house again without hesitation! The attention to detail was unmatched, from the fully stocked kitchen (seriously, it had everything we could possibly need) to the thoughtful touches like s’mores treats waiting for us when we arrived.Traveling with kids can be stressful around water, but the child locks and pool door/window alarms gave us so much peace of mind while still allowing everyone to enjoy the beautiful pool. Every room was clearly labeled, the attention to detail was very top tier. You can tell that the owners/team taking care of this property really pays attention and cares about the folks choosing to rent their spaces? We had three families staying together, and there was more than enough space for everyone to spread out while still gathering comfortably in the large family areas. The lake access was fantastic, and the kayaks made it so easy and fun to get out on the water. Having a grocery store just minutes away was another huge convenience.This home is exceptionally well cared for and thoughtfully designed for families. You can tell the owners have put so much effort into creating a comfortable, welcoming experience, and it truly made our vacation memorable. Five stars all around!

Eight adults, nine kids, unlimited memories, PRICELESS! Excellent time, beautiful winter weekend gathering spot! Many amenities for the young and the mature. The house was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

Facilities were great for a large family. We were 4 grandkids and two friends, our daughters and son in laws and Gloria and I in our 70s. Kitchen was our only glitch, utensils were slim, but it worked out. All had great times..Highly recommended.

The property was as advertised. Great location on Mona Lake. We rented a boat for several days, and the dock was terrific. Plenty of room in the house, bedrooms, rec room, and living room. Fantastic fire pit. Leslie, the host, was super responsive. The kitchen was well equipped.

The home is lovely and fit 6 adults and 2 children with room to spare! The photos are representative of the home and grounds. The kitchen is large and outfitted with just about every pan or small appliance you might need. The location is perfect - several grocery stores and pharmacies are within a couple of miles, so it’s not a major trek if you have to make a last minute grocery run. We will be back!

The house was beautiful! It had all of the amenities you could possibly ask for. The owners responded instantly to questions and were very responsive. We had a wonderful time and would book again for sure!

We LOVED this beautiful house and all the amazing, fun things it had to offer! Check-in was very easy. The kitchen is huge with everything we needed! Plenty of counter space to prepare & serve food and lots of seating for our group of 11. The extra refrigerator in the basement (near the pool and game room) was very useful as we spent endless hours in the pool and hot tub. We especially enjoyed the lake. The kayaks and paddle boards were a big hit with all of us! The kids swam, fished from the dock, played in the sand and played in the huge yard. Many evenings were spent around the fire pit enjoying s'mores! We had the best week! Communication with Leslie was excellent! Everything about this place was wonderful!

We had a few hiccups upon arrival. Leslie quickly resolved out issue. We had a wonderful time at Mona Lake Retreat. The house is well stocked, especially the kitchen! The pool was a fabulous place to hang out, as well as the fire pit. My SIL brought his boat, so the dock was another feature we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. We had 8 adults and 5 children, plenty of room in the house for us.

First off, Leslie, our host, was awesome!! Superb communication, she answered all of my endless questions and she made sure everything was in order for our trip. My family had an absolutely wonderful time!!! This house is amazingly beautiful, spacious and so well stocked. We were so appreciative of all the extra things these owners offer…bath towels, swim towels, paper products, soaps, shampoos, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, pool items, a well stocked kitchen, along with all the fixings for smores. The pool was AMAZING and my grandkids especially loved the slide and the basketball hoops! The house is also close to so many other things to do. We had a beach day, an arcade day, some went to the zoo, some toured the bottom of the battle ship and the submarine and some climbed to the top of a lighthouse. Others found a beautiful garden museum, kids loved a playground and of course we all enjoyed nights around the fire with the views of the beautiful lit up lake and piers. We made so many unforgettable memories here and it was really tough to leave. Thanks so much to Leslie and I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Great house for our family vacation of 15. Lots to do with the pool, fishing off the dock and entertainment in the basement. Huge yard for lawn games with a relaxing area to watch the sunset and sit by the fire. We highly recommend this rental.

This is a lovely property with lots of space and tons of amenities. Kids had lots of fun with pool and slide as well as kayaks and boards. Spacious kitchen well equipped with cooking supplies. Well thought out spaces for the whole family.Plenty of parking as well.

This is the home you are looking for: All of the amenities, great location, and a very responsive host.Highly recommend the sauna, the kayaks, and (per the kids) the water slide!My friends and family are already discussing a trip next year due to how much we loved our stay and the kids were teary-eyed as we left. Yes. It is definitely that good.Only tip i have is to remind guests to keep towels washed throughout your stay. There are so many available, and you don't want to spend the last day collecting every towel your kids grabbed.

Clean and complete facilities

We loved off-season Muskegon, which this house made quite entertaining with arcade games, table tennis, hot tub, sauna, Nintendo, and plenty of places to read. The kitchen is gorgeous and well-appointed.

Everything was excellent. The home was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. Everything you see in the pictures are true. I will definitely stay there again.

Stay was lovely. My daughter, boyfriend, parents and a gaggle of approx 24 yr. Olds stayed. Plenty of space and things to do. Nice instructions and light switches marked. Leslie was very fast to respond and helpful. They even put up a Christmas tree. Thank you for everything

The house was perfect for my husband’s side of the family to hang out for the weekend. The house has everything including phone chargers in the bedrooms. Definitely recommend!

We traveled 6hrs for our sons highschool football game; our 4 families stayed together with our sons. The upstairs was perfect for the adults and downstairs amazing for the teens. The outside view was absolutely breathtaking and the photos don’t do it justice. The house was clean and well thought out floor plans made all of our stays easy w separate bathrooms for all adults. We will be back and can’t wait.

Lots of separate spaces indoors and outdoors for groups of people to gather. Room to relax or have some fun. And plants of private space when you want to get away from everyone.
