    This was the first VRBO reservation that was 100% as listed. We only had 7 in our party but it could easily fit the 12 as noted. In fact 12 could hang out in the living room, eat dinner together, or sit on the porch or pool together. They were clear on what was provided and what we needed to bring. We were .2 of a mile from a great downtown area with shops and restaurants. We only had a smallIssue with the cable but within 10-15 minutes of contacting the agent, someone was there and the issue resolved. The staff we worked with were excellent and checked in with us every day to make sure things were ok. First 10 out of 10 rating I have ever given!!Definitely recommend this property and area!

    We had a really fun stay at Sunshine Magnolia. Two families of 4 traveled together. Really excellent outdoor space, with a screened porch, outdoor deck chairs, hammock, and of course the the pool. Bedrooms are divided into two different sleeping areas on opposite sides of the house, allowing for privacy and some quiet. Kitchen very well set up, had everything we needed. Walk easily to shops, ice cream, restaurants and the pier. We rented bikes and could bike further up the island to east beach. A great playground essentially right out the back fence was another asset for the kids.

    Beautifully decorated, it was well equipped with all the basic needs in our stay. The only inconvenience was a problem with their water heater. Hot water would only heat up if we did one shower at a time, they said the reason was because it was an older home. If that had been on the description, it would have help me decide if it was worth it paying so much for the property. After a couple of emails with my concerns, verbo was able to give me a 10% discount for the inconvenience.

    The property was beautiful. I did not realize this was managed by a property management company at the time of booking. They send you a completely different contract to sign and my vacation was almost cancelled because the emailed contract went to junk. Luckily a text was sent and I was able to sign the contract and all was good. They send check out texts the morning before you leave which made me feel rushed and took away some of the relaxation as I am an anxious person and had already gone over the required steps prior to starting the vacation. I did like that had we had any issues, the property management company had an on call number and check in was easy.

    In the past, our family trips to SSI have focused on the beach. We decided to switch it up this year and stay closer to the village. It proved to be our favorite trip so far. Sunshine Magnolia was within walking distance of just about everything - shops, restaurants, ice cream, playgrounds, the pier. We rode bikes to the beach and only needed our car to haul beach gear or pick up groceries. The house suited us perfectly. It was very comfortable, fully outfitted, and exactly as pictured. We cooked in the kitchen almost every night and found everything we needed. The back yard and pool were ideal and we spent the majority of our time in the shade of those glorious live oak trees. The property managers were the best we’ve ever dealt with, checking in often to make sure all was well. We loved our time at Sunshine Magnolia and definitely hope to return.
