Heated Pool & Spa, Sleeps 8, South Tampa | 5 Min to MacDill AFB

The house is in a gentrified area where they are building up the neighborhood so it would seem like a semi seedy neighborhood, but it looks like it is evolving. It was fairly quiet though for what I was expecting, and they thought of almost everything in this house except for seasoning for your food and the pool, which is the premium humidity of the house was not well kept. I was there on business. I was very busy, but I wanted to enjoy the pool on my last day and noticed that it was filthy. Had a dead frog floating in the pool when I mentioned it to them they wanted to bring someone out immediately but I was leaving like that following morning. They offered me 100 gift card for the inconvenience, but I still haven’t gotten that either. I would say as soon as you get there if the pool is while you’re there, you should probably call them right away and just have them come out and clean it when you arrive.

I don’t have positive things to say. The neighborhood was marginal at best. Interior furnishings below par. Cheap towels, linens, etc. This house needs dimmers. Turn the lights on and the intensity is significant. Dimmers would make a huge difference. It was impossible to take a bath and not flood the bathroom floor. Very cramped. Never felt entirely safe. Probably my fault, should have done additional diligence.

I wish we had more time to enjoy this space. It was comfortable and nice. Tampa is very spread out and we went many places and this place was convenient, but with a car. (Thats a Tampa thing) close to good food, and bars, and grocery store. Neighborhood felt safe. On the rare days that the weather is cool or cold, dont get the pool heated. Theyll let you know in advance it wont get warmer than a few degrees over ambient temp, so its not a surprise. The pool area was very nice, so if you're going when its warmer. You'll probably enjoy it. The host responded to questions quickly and we didnt have any issues.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. It is an updated, older property. We had an issue with the pool and heating it. They took care of the issue as quickly as possible. The communication via the app was outstanding!

Great stay. The weather was cold, even for February, so we didn’t get into the pool. One noticeable issue is that the front door has a finger-wide gap between the frame and the door from the doorknob to the floor, and a gap along the threshold and the bottom of the door. Daylight shines through it. Was down to the high 30s a few nights, and with cold air entering the gap, the house hvac was unable to keep the home warm. I temporarily solved the issue by placing painter's tape over the gap to block cold air from entering the home. Some weatherstripping needs to be added to avoid drafts and possibly creatures (we saw none).Two minor issues, but should be mentioned. The shower drain is slow. Also, dishwasher every other time after two runs, barely cleaning dishes. Resorted to manual washing of dishes.The privacy gate on the driveway, one half off hinges, and on the ground upon arrival. Just noted if the next renter has pets.Overall great stay, near my sisters, would rent again. Was second time renting in 3 years, love it.

Great House, Great Host, Great Communication. Perfect spot for daily access to the base, less than ten minute travel time.

This house was in a nice location on a quiet street (although you do hear the jets from the AFB). Many of the surrounding houses and neighborhoods were negatively affected by the hurricanes, but this house was very clean and functional. The pool was very nice and warm. The communication with management was excellent (very responsive). Two nice parks within walking distance were a plus. Good restaurants and stores within a couple miles. We would definitely stay here again.

Owners stayed in contact and made sure we were happy and taken care of. House was perfect and had everything we needed. The location is nice and neighborhood is quiet. Yard was well kept and pool was nice and clean. Access to home was easy and I loved the keyless entry. Kids really enjoyed the pool/ping pong table. Only con was no light in the pool so once it got dark you couldn’t enjoy the pool until the 10 pm curfew but other than that no complaints at all. I would definitely stay again and would 10/10 recommend.
