Heated Pool Access | 5*Clean | Flex Cancelation

“Heater pool access” is a 15 minute drive. The floors were filthy. Within minutes the kids hands, knees, and tops of feet were black from crawling. There were multiple cracked tile that were a concern because of kids crawling over the sharp edges. The bathroom with the pocket door didn’t lock due to being broken. One of the beds had a broken headboard. Had to replace light bulbs ourselves to have any lights outside. Overall it wasn’t terrible but definitely feel as if there’s a lack of maintenance and cleaning. The screened in sun room was nice but didn’t have the lounge bed as pictured. Access to the beach was easy.

Beautiful sunsets, Beach was less busy than downtown which was nice. Alot of outdoor deck space to use if we would have had better weather.

Stayed here for my sisters bachelorette and it was perfect! The area was very laid back with a view of the ocean. Direct ocean access. Would 10/10 recommend.

Large, clean space. Comfortable for a big group, huge kitchen and three baths were perfect. Views from porch over the marsh were beautiful.

A house so close to the beach was exactly what our family needed for this vacation. The house was perfect for our large family and the kids loved the pool as well. We did have a bit of trouble figuring out which place was ours but the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay and we settled in nicely. We would definitely stay here again!

Place was pretty dirty from the get-go, found numerous random stray hairs in our room and in the bathrooms.Worst part was ending up with hundreds of bedbug bites. The entire family got numerous bites, that apparently continue to appear up to three weeks after exposure so my family and I are still dealing with them.Overall, even aside from the dirtiness and the bed bugs, the place is not great. The HEATED POOL that they proudly declare you'll have access to is actually a three mile drive away. The unit feels like the owners never actually stay there themselves, lots of little inconsistencies and a lack of human touch.We reached out to VRBO and to the host about the bedbugs but nothing was offered. So we spent thousands to get harmed and have had to pay for dermatology appointments ourselves

First management of the property was cery very quick to respond. We arrived early and it was quick and easy to add early check in. The house was clean and the location was great.. just a short path to the private beach. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. All 8 of us had a great time

Great place to stay, many homes to select from, quite, great beach access, activites close.

Overall my stay was as welcomed as the sunset to the horizon. I truly enjoyed the house , the view and the accommodations. Thank you for the opportunity to have this experience.

The house is comfortable and clean it could use an update, but there is plenty of room. The walk to the beach is comparable to other rentals and the beach is pretty isolated at the juncture of the river and the ocean. However the pool is on the other side of Tybee from this house, 4 miles, there is no parking at the pool and you cannot rent a golfcart from this address. So unless you have someone to drop you off and walk back from one of the beach Parking areas, you are pretty much stuck with the beach Anyway the location isn't great.

The house was in need of some tlc. A few chairs were broken, the vinyl siding outside was warped in a spot. The vent covers in several rooms were rusted and the towel bar was broken off in the bathroom on the first floor. We paid a lot of money to stay and it was really worn. The beach access was beautiful and private. The lighting going down the steps outside was very poor and while we packed up this morning to leave two people in my party missed the last step because of darkness and fell.

The inside was very spacious and clean. 2 bedrooms downstairs and then the master upstairs with the loft area. I do wish the location of the bedrooms was specified prior to our stay, as then we would have planned better for kid sleeping arrangements. The beach is a short walk. It is a sound side beach with little to no waves or tide pools. For our kids, we did end up driving to the north beach access every day so that the kids could get more of a beach experience with tide pools and waves. When we booked, we were hoping for more of a beach front experience. But from looking up the address of the house, you can see that it is sound access only. The view is of the marshes and the river. The sunset could be seen nightly from the porch and was beautiful. We would consider staying here again understanding that the beach is sound access.

overall really quality stay and attending property managers/owners.The location was closer to the main highway than i was expecting but easy in and out of the neighborhood. Great common living areas. 3 adults, 2 children

We had a wonderful time with our family. It was a Christmas present to our son and his children. The walk to the ocean was short The property was clean and well maintained. It was perfect for our family. My grandchildren had an amazing time. There was enough space for the 11 of us. We didn’t want to leave.

I cannot imagine a better place to stay on Tybee Island. It has a spectacular view of the marshes, its wildlife, and it's only a few steps from the sandy beach! If you're a photographer or painter, you'll love this location, and it has plenty of space for a group of 9 adult friends to spend time together.

This property was infested with bed bugs. The property managers provided no assistance, would not rebook us (because of course we would bring their bedbugs to another property.) We were only refunded the nights stay amount for the two nights after we left. We were there for my son's wedding- his brother had multiple bites, while his wife and baby where with in in the infested area. We had to pack up and move out on the day of the wedding, pay top price for alternative lodging for our family, and are now spending hours and hundreds of dollars to disinfect our belongings to prevent bringing bed bugs to our home. The response and support to us has been appalling. Do not engage with Southern Belle Vacation Rentals.

I strongly advise against booking with Southern Belle. The main issue was not the property itself, but the lack of service from the management team. The house was not beachfront as advertised, but on the sound side of the island. There were several maintenance issues: a cabinet hanging off its hinges, one bed with a strong odor, and windows full of dead bugs and filth. Our stay coincided with Hurricane Helene, and despite reaching out to Southern Belle before arrival for guidance, they referred us to our (nonexistent) travel insurance and refused to offer any flexibility, insisting the island wasn’t under a storm warning. As the storm progressed, we informed them we would delay arrival by a day for safety. They assured us everything would be ready. Upon arrival, we found a tree blocking the driveway. Southern Belle’s solution was to park a mile away and walk with our five young children on a busy road.They claimed a service order had been placed to remove the tree, but after inconsistent communication about whether it was the city or HOA’s responsibility, we ended up borrowing a saw from a neighbor to remove it ourselves. Southern Belle’s only response? “Thanks for letting us know.” Their failure to inspect the property post-storm and their poor communication reflected a lack of concern for guest safety and satisfaction. Multiple locals even warned us that Southern Belle has a poor reputation, and after our experience, I can see why.

The house was great, space was great, and plan on using them again.

We loved the house, the private beach access, and most of all the comforts of the entire house. Thank you to our host for making our stay absolutely perfect!
