Welcome to Superbia! This is our real family home in a working-class neighborhood — cozy, lived-in, & full of personality. It’s not fancy, but it’s full of heart. We’ve put a lot of love into making this space fun & comfortable for you. Enjoy a 77” OLED TV w/ surround sound, a large backyard w/ a hot tub, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor dining, & cozy lighting. Private gated parking included (2 cars). We work hard to make your stay great & truly appreciateguests who are easygoing & respectful in return. We’re not a company. This is our real family home—cozy, lived-in, and full of love. We’ve renovated it ourselves and tried to make it welcoming, functional, and fun—but it’s not a luxury resort or a showroom. We put a lot of care into making it welcoming and well-equipped for guests. It’s a down-to-earth spot in a working-class neighborhood, ~8 minutes from downtown San Diego!

Inside you’ll find a clean, comfortable 3 bed, 2 bath home with modern updates and a few quirks like any real house. The living room has comfy furniture and a 77” OLED TV with full surround sound—great for winding down after a day exploring.

You’ll have the whole home and yard to yourselves (there’s just a storage shed in the back that we use). The front and backyard both have turf instead of real grass—it’s easy to care for and keeps things clean.

Outside is where this place really shines: the backyard has a hot tub, gas fire pit, outdoor dining, lounge seating, and gated parking for two cars. There’s ambient lighting and built-in speakers for evenings under the stars.

We have exterior security cameras, including one that covers the spa area—they’re not monitored live, just there for safety and peace of mind.

This is not a baby-proofed home. If you’re bringing a little one who’s crawling, please bring a play mat or blanket—we do our best to keep things clean, but it’s not a sterile hotel.

We’re so proud of our home—it’s not perfect, but it’s special to us, and we love sharing it with guests who are kind, respectful, and okay with a few real-life imperfections. No parties or events are allowed—we appreciate guests who treat it with care.

Maximum occupancy is 6 people total, including infants.

Jodie was an amazing host and the home was amazingly comfortable. Jodie was on top of everything with fast replies to questions. The neighborhood was very quiet. Will definitely stay again.

The house itself was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. The host was accommodating, responsive, and easy to work with, which I really appreciated. However, I do feel it’s important to mention that the neighborhood didn’t feel very safe and was not what I expected. It was within walking distance of a cemetery, and I wish the listing had been more upfront about the surrounding area. Overall, the stay inside the home was great, but the location was not ideal.

I'll preface by saying there was 6 of us (2 couples and 2 single people), all above 30 and no kids. We needed the place as it was close to Downtown San Diego for the convention (SDCC). There was enough space for us and it was close - getting to the convention center was quick. Less than ideal was some of the other things. If you're driving or using car service, the street is very narrow, made worse by the fact there's cars on both sides of the road. Its two way, but that's almost impossible and at night making the turn was nerve wracking as its essentially a blind turn. Finding the house was easy enough, its about halfway down the block. The front is very nice, though the landscaping is misleading as its not grass, but astroturf (something we didn't remember being seen listed). The backyard was nice and my friends who used the hot tub very much appreciated that and the wide deck to hang out and destress on after a day of running around. The house was mostly in good condition when we arrived - one of the showers however still had a very large clump of hair. Air Conditioning was also hit or miss; the house is not central air conditioning, and only the living room and master bedroom have units within it, the other two bedrooms do not. This caused an issue for one our guests as it got really hot overnight (it was the end of July) in the bedroom. Jodie did try calling me to discuss the situation, though unfortunately we didn't have a time to connect as the days were hectic.

This home has been recently remodeled and has lovely contemporary decor. The owners clearly care about this house and it was immaculate. The written instructions were clear for entry, use of speakers and technology features, the hot tub, and the somewhat tricky gate. There is lots of fenced outdoor space for kids to run around. It was a great home for our 3 generation family get away to San Diego. Chris was super responsive, answering questions and addressing any issues we had.
