After a decade of staying at VRBOs, this home is among my favorites. It is ideally located, well equipped, spacious and bright, and quite charming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The house was clean and cozy. Had to contact the host as the lock was not allowing us in at our check in time. She fixed it quickly. Really nice, friendly and quiet neighborhood within walking distance to shops/restaurants and lakes. My only complaint about the house is it’s a bit noisy going up and down the stairs, as it is an older house. If you are a light sleeper you hear everything. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The host was very welcoming - a sweet note and treats when we arrived. She was also very timely in her responses to my questions. The house was perfect for what we needed, plenty of beds and a great dining room table that we spent lots of time at. The location is perfect too, so close to the Lake and Hennepin area. We would definitely rent again!

Comfortable beds, wonderful common area, tons of space. Great bathrooms! One bathroom is downstairs in the basement but it is huge and wonderfully remodeled and we were happy to have the extra shower. The location was walkable to large lake with recreation options and good restaurants.

The house was perfect for our 8 person bachelorette weekend (nothing too crazy, we went to museums and bookstores). We all mentioned/agreed that this was the best vrbo any of us had ever been to.

My husband and I, our two sons, daughter-in-law, and our twin 2 year old grandchildren came into Minneapolis for family Thanksgiving week. Positives: In a great location. The house was very clean Beds were quite comfortable (although they were made up for summer with no blankets and just a thin quilt- we asked owner about it and she directed us to a closet in the attic with duvets, but no duvet covers. We made up the beds with the duvets and some extra throws we found in the house since it was 8 degrees at night and 20 during the day.) The kitchen was well- stocked with most everything we needed for our 9 night stay. The heater and washer and dryer worked fine There was a lovely front porch that would be great in the warmer months. Showers were fine Negatives: I did not realize (and this is my fault for not reading the description carefully enough) that the house has 4 levels I also didn’t realize that there was no bathroom on the main level. This was not ideal with so many people in the house. No one loved having to go up or down stairs to use the facilities. The stairs were very steep (especially to the attic bedroom) and were not carpeted. The house is over 100 years old and, while updated in some ways, it isn’t a very comfortable place for a big group. Even though it sleeps 10, the living area is quite small for everyone to hang out together. The kitchen is extremely small. For our use, we did not think it was worth the rate since we couldn’t host.

The house is very conveniently located just two blocks east of Lake Calhoun. Grocery stores, coffee shops, drugstores all close by. Access to highways is easy. Situated on a quiet street, the house is very well equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, living areas). Communication with host was always prompt. Thank you for making it available.

Nice property in great location. Drawback was no first floor bathroom and TV on first level didn’t function properly even after owner came to troubleshoot. A basic cable plan would be beneficial at this property.

We had a wonderful stay that weekend with our family that included my wife, myself, three of our adult children, kids, and my wife’s parents. There was plenty of room for everybody and we love that it had a fully equipped kitchen. It’s an active neighborhood with many people walking, but still seemed quiet. The on street parking was perfect, as we pulled right up to the house and parked curbside during our stay. We really felt like we were staying in part of a community and it was great that we were only two or three blocks walking distance From a bakery, coffee shop, or grocery store. It was also nice to be able to walk three or four blocks to the lake! We had a wonderful weekend and would definitely stay here again!

Great neighborhood and home. We did not need to contact the host at all, because everything we needed was easily findable. The house has plenty of room for a family, as listed. Note it is a vertical house—4 stories, 3 staircases. Good handrails, easily traversed if stairs are not an issue. One bathroom is on the second floor and one in the basement—both generous rooms and the water pressure is excellent. Beach and walking paths at the end of the street and yummy restaurants 2-3 blocks away. We would absolutely stay there again.

House and provisions in the house were very good and comfortable. Location was good and convenient for things we wanted to do. We had very good assistance and communication with Felicity. The following comments have no reflection on the property we stayed at. We were simply victims of bad timing to make our trip to this neighborhood. The main street where businesses and local restaurants are located (Hennepin Ave) was closed off and completely torn up and under reconstruction. Totally uninviting to explore. Lake Bke Maka Ska. within short walking distance. had signs posted prohibiting swimming due to high E-Coli counts. The Several miles of bike and hiking paths around the lakes and several play areas were enjoyable. The neighbor across the street from our house had their car vandalized and window broken out in the middle of the afternoon on our first full day in the neighborhood. Made us question the safety of the neighborhood. Some neighbors assured us that it was a safe area even though we so no presence of police during our entire time in the Uptown area of Minneapolis. This was the reason for our lower rating for location and neighborhood. These concerns will be gone at some point in time in the future. We did engage in many enjoyable activities outside the neighborhood, so don't let our moment in time prevent you from visiting Minneapolis.

We had a great stay for the week in the Uptown neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around the lake, eating great dinners, and family fun just hanging and playing games at the house. Thank you for providing a clean and well-stocked home with all of the essentials and more!
