GUEST ACCESS

The entire Townhouse is yours for the length of your stay.

GUEST INTERACTION

We are happy to provide you with as much or as little interaction as you desire. We can welcome you when you arrive and give you a 'tour' of the place, or we can provide you with self check-in instructions so that you can let yourself in at your convenience (most people prefer this option).

We do require a copy of your ID and the CC used for payment upon booking. Please feel free to cover up all personal information and all but the last 4 digits of your CC. This is to protect our guests and us against fraudulent bookings.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

The place is on the same block as the Roosevelt Hotel which sometimes has promotions with music at their pool. These are really fun to go to but we also want you to be aware that you can hear the music occasionally from inside. These promotions are not an everyday occurrence and this has never been an issue for us when we lived here but we want you to be aware in case you are super sensitive to noise.

Our garage (2 spots) only fits cars/mini vans/regular suvs. Extra large passenger vans and big SUVs with racks on top will not fit under our garage and you'll need to park them either on the street or in a parking structure (Note: there is one at the end of our block).

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

We are centrally located in Los Angeles in the infamous Hollywood neighborhood, where stars are embedded in the sidewalk, stars walk the sidewalks, and people pretending to be stars solicit money for street performances! The cultural epicenter of the movie industry and a beacon for those who dream big-screen, Hollywood's star-power creates a place like no other in the universe.

Hollywood is surrounded by West Hollywood, The Hollywood Hills, Melrose Ave, Los Feliz, Beverly Hills, Miracle Mile all just a few minutes by car. All of these neighborhoods have excellent restaurants, public parks, libraries, tourist attractions, museums, theaters and shopping.

Additionally the home is just a few blocks from the entrance to Runyon Canyon which has the most famous hiking trails in LA. A perfect spot for an early morning jog, photo opportunity of the Hollywood sign, gorgeous views and of course celebrity spotting!

Noteworthy attractions nearby:
• Hollywood Walk of Fame
• Hollywood Sign
• Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum
• The Magic Castle
• Kodak, Chinese & Egyptian Theatres
• El Capitain (Disney Theater)
• Griffith Park & Observatory
• The Grove Shopping Center
• LACMA
• La Brea Tar Pit
• Pan Pacific Park
• Marciano Art Foundation
• ArcLight Cinemas
• Pantages Theater
• Hollywood Bowl
• Hollywood Farmer's Market
• Larchmont Village
• Beverly Hills
• Rodeo Drive
• The Hollywood Hills
• Mulholland Drive

GETTING AROUND

With Uber & Lyft it is no longer necessary to have a car in LA, though it is a spread out city so you will most likely get into at least 1 car during your time here. Like the immortal movie 'Clueless' noted, Everywhere in LA takes twenty minutes!

Use these discount codes after installing the apps to get a Free Ride:
Uber - laurao5759ue
Lyft - laura1876

If you don't have a car, don't fret. Contrary to popular belief, LA has a very comprehensive, reliable, and safe bus system. There is good transit around us with many nearby bus routes as well as Hollywood/Highland Metro Station (Red Line) a 4 minute walk away.

I used to live in West Hollywood years ago...my family always wanted to see where I lived before I became a mom; and I am so happy that we found this place for me to show them! It's right in the middle of everything! Close to the main Hollywood strip, walking distance to Runyan Canyon, and right down the road from my favorite Thai restaurant...The Pink Pepper! Parking is available (which was a huge plus)! The townhome was big enough for my husband, myself, and our adult kiddos (three of them)!!! Highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed the location and the property, and how accommodating our property owner was. Unfortunately we did not enjoy all the stairs. Our group was 4 adults over age 50. We got very tired having to go up and down stairs both inside and outside the property and next time we hope to find single level accommodations.

We stayed 6 nights at this ideally located home. It's just 1.5 blocks from Hollywood Blvd with a CVS & Target (w/ Starbucks) right there on the corner. And all the Hollywood Blvd tourist attractions (i.e. Dolby Theatre, Chinese Theatre, etc) are a short walk away. At night you do need to be careful walking alone due to the large nbr of homeless people, but during the daylight hrs it's totally fine!Despite all the LA traffic, we did manage to go to Burbank, Universal City, Valencia (Six Flags), Beverly Hills, Griffith Observatory and Venice Beach/Santa Monica without much of an issue; seems we were usually driving against the traffic.Laurie & Kaitlyn's home worked just fine for my husband and I and 3 young adult children; the 2.5 baths was definitely ideal! The beds were comfortable. The place was for the most part clean; however, it could probably use a deep cleaning b/c I did see some cobwebs and the exhaust fan in the master bath was very dirty and could be an issue for someone with severe allergies. There are a few repairs that should be made and I brought them to the owners' attention, and Laurie & Kaitlyn were very responsive to answering any questions we had. They even recommended looking into a Day Pass at a local resort if we didn't want to do anymore sight seeing, and we enjoyed a relaxing pool day at Hilton Universal City (thank you for the suggestion!). Lastly the parking spot(s) behind a gated area was very roomy for our large mini-van - thank goodness!

This was our second stay at this lovely property one block off of Hollywood Boulevard. The place is always clean, well-stocked with towels and all the necessary kitchen items. The location is amazing, just behind the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel, you are close to so many attractions in Hollywood. The 2-car parking is incredibly valuable as parking rates in the area are very high. We will be back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay, the location was within a block or two of things we wanted to see, and some really great places to eat. We were only there a few nights, but looking at the big picture and the reason we were in Hollywood this is definitely a perfect place to stay. Hopefully this place is available the next time we venture into town

Great spacious condo for 5 people. Clean with all amenities included, even two secure parking spaces. Neighborhood is close to the Hollywood stars walking street. Not the safest street but condo was secure with a locked gate. Great for our family of 5.

My family of 6 (two adults, four teenagers) stayed at this property for a week. We had such a great time for our first trip to Los Angeles and absolutely loved the central location to so much to do. We were so close to Universal Hollywood, Griffith Park, and the Warner Brothers Studios which we visited. We also traveled easily from here to Disneyland, Venice Beach, and Malibu. It was so much more spacious and affordable than going the hotel route. The owner sent us so much information on the best places for anything from restaurants, to groceries, to pharmacies. They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns prior to booking and traveling. The neighborhood could use a bit of a cleanup but being just one block from the Hollywood Walk of Fame was such a perk that it made up for it. The residence was clean and very secure. The owner provided so many small items such as soaps, shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent, and several other small bathroom and kitchen items. The two balconies could have used a little sprucing up. We loved being able to save on parking costs (and searching for spaces) with the on-site secure parking and being able to walk to In and Out Burger. Thanks for letting us stay!

We loved our stay in Hollywood, and the location of the condo, just 1 block off of Hollywood Blvd was soooo perfect. The house is cute and quite comfortable. Our group was out and about everyday, but we enjoyed watching movies in the evenings and preparing breakfast and dinner together. The only thing we'd change is the kitchen knives are rather dull. Would definitely return, though!!
