Healing House - fireplace, wifi, 2 kings, furnished den, screen porch, pool access

A girls trip for my birthday! It fit us perfectly. We went to town for the spa. Go to the Cardinal bar, the nicest people you'll ever meet!

Beautiful home! Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was extremely well stocked! Can’t wait to come back next year!

Beds were comfortable, the place was big enough for everyone who stayed there, lots of entertainment, enjoyed the peace and quiet. Place was beautiful and will be coming back again.

We loved the layout of the home. For our needs, it was perfect.We had a few issues/items that we thought we would bring up. We believe the spigots for the showers/tubs and sinks downstairs need replaced. We DID NOT like the parking. With a house that large, you would think that there would be more parking, level parking and wider parking. It was challenging, to say the least. The first hall bathroom, when coming in the door, to the right, was NOT cleaned. We had to clean the toilet. Also, the refrigerator doors were very sticky, so we cleaned those also. All other areas appeared clean. We were not fans of the decor. It seems to be a more wild/eccentric theme than a calming, healing decor.We will probably book again for next year.

The house is well laid out and could accommodate the whole family. There is plenty to do, and everyone enjoyed themselves.

This was a five lady trip for us to get away from the husbands and the kids. We picked this place because of its affordability and due to the fact that everybody got their own bathroom. It was gorgeous with lots of room and the kitchen is very well stocked and clean. The only thing we would change is some sort of privacy glass or filter put in the upstairs open windows for the loft.

We stayed here for a sisters and cousins weekend and it was perfect! We really needed 5 bedrooms to accommodate our group of 10. We were excited to find a place that also had 5 bathrooms! That was very nice. The place is nice and open and the bedroom layout is good for a group that has a few kids. With sitting areas both on the main and lower floors, we were able to put the kids to bed on the main floor, and hangout on the lower floor. Everyone had the space they needed if they wanted to get some quiet time. There were only two minor issues. One was hot water. I don't think the tank is big enough to accommodate a house that big, or the potential number of guests it may be holding. My niece had to take a cold shower, after minimal warm water use. We were able to work around that during out short trip though. The other issue is that despite the fact that all the bathrooms had tubs, none were really functional for taking a bath. There were even two large jacuzzi tubs that looked inviting, but were in need of a good cleaning/servicing. We had kids who were dying to take a bath in one, but we couldn't let them. Anyway, despite those minor issues, we would 100% stay again. The space is great! Oh, I forgot to mention the really nice screened in porch. One more note... the driveway is a little tricky. It's long and narrow, with nowhere to turn around. We all had to back in, one in front of the other. Again, no big deal, just took some planning.

I loved staying at Healing House. There was plenty of room in the kitchen with every available tool/utensil needed. Having a bathroom for each of the 5 bedrooms is amazing. Plenty of space to hangout on both levels. We would definitely stay here again!!! I’m glad I read other reviews before staying. The “loft” room with a king size bed has two large windows with no covering or glass, but does have a door. Any guests staying upstairs may have issue with noise at night or in the morning. We managed to be quiet so it wasn’t a huge issue.

Just as advertised

The house was beautiful. There is no turn around in the driveway but it did fit 4 cars. We had to back out but it was not difficult at all. The bedroom in the loft has a door. There are two windows that overlook the living room but does not have glass. You could not see in the room from the living room. I would not report this as a negative. We had 5 couples (5 sisters with spouses) and the house was perfect. There was plenty of seating in the living room and also downstairs in the game room. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was conveniently located close to downtown Berkelely Springs which made it nice. The only complaint is the hot water tank. It was very small for a large house. After a few people showered we ran out of hot water. But even with that I would definitely stay there again!
