Headland Beach-House & Boat-Shed

First and foremost the Host was great in regards to communication. Being an older home it was very cosy and family friendly. Plenty of wildlife in the backyard. Close proximity of the local ships and beaches. The beaches are absolutely stunning and the view from the back balcony and sunriom were fantastic.

Such an incredible place to stay! We could walk to the restaurants in town, but felt a million miles away, up on the headland. It is exactly like the photos and the views are amazing. We saw so many whales from the deck, as well as kangaroos in the backyard. The house was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Communication with the host and check in process was all great.

Quirky property in a great location. Great views of the coast. Short walk to beach or headland walk. Plenty of space in the property. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need.

Old School, Beach Shack with in lovely location with ocean views. Enough room for us all to spread out and even tho weather wasn't great, we enjoyed hanging out, lots of DVD's to choose from. Nice getaway with friends and family.

Both the house & boatshed were comfortable and nicely decorated, I especially loved the shell art. Roomy enough for the 7 of us and extremely well appointed kitchen. The roos and bird visitors were a lovely addition, but the ants and cockroaches were not. Not much you can do about the tiny ants but I was horrified by the roaches. Unfortunately our entire stay was met with fairly consistent wet weather which led to very slippery conditions on the grass, tiled path & timber steps. I suggest a hand rail on the steps up to the boatshed would be beneficial for guests during wet conditions. Possibly also a sensor light to the main entry. Being that the shower is over the bath, a rail or two would assist with getting in and out and reduce the slip/fall risks, especially for the height challenged. I don't mean to come across as overly critical but after a bad fall recently I don't want another one, and I nearly came a cropper a few times at this property. All of that being said, the views were divine, the sounds of the waves crashing were heavenly & the location perfect! Plus Sarah was an attentive host and very easy to deal with.

The property was perfect for our needs, Sarah the owner was a delight to deal with, great location, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect!

Very cute cottage with the best views. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The owner has put a lot of thought into the decoration with so many delightful items to capture the eye. Fully kitted out kitchen for self catering and a short walk to cafe's, restaurant and beach. Would love to have had a longer stay.
