Great location of you want to be away from it all. We enjoyed walks and exploring as well as trips to near by attractions, including Chinney Rock! Great time for dinner at the old jail turned resturant/ brewery, Iron Key Brewery. Wish we could of seen some snow..maybe next year!
Lovely view. Lovely home.
It’s the mountain home I’d own if I could.
Spectacular setting for our Thanksgiving celebration. Watching the sunrise on the porch set the stage for wonderful days. All details and amenities are provided. Fabulous kitchen, great rooms and bathrooms. The hot tub was a nice treat at the end of the day. We thank the Anderson’s for opening their home to us.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the property and surroundings. Great place.
Hawks View is a beautiful home with a spectacular view. We had a long weekend with extended family and this property was perfect for our needs. The home is inviting, comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We would certainly recommend Hawks View to anyone looking for a wonderful mountain home in the area.
It was a great stay great house
This beautiful mountain house surpassed all expectations and the view was even more breathtaking than we imagined. Our school team of teachers were able to have several great meetings on the deck where we had comfortable seating for all of us. It was very clean and well organized with easy access to anything we needed. I highly recommend this property!
Hawk’s View was a beautiful spot for a relaxing mountain getaway. The home was clean and had every amenity we needed. We loved cooking in the open kitchen and enjoyed family meals in this breath taking setting. Our kids loved the bunk beds, the vintage restaurant booth and arcade game. The wrap around porches had plenty of comfortable seating and panoramic Mountain View’s. The power went out twice during our stay (summer storms) and the generator kicked right on to provide lights and refrigeration until power was restored. The management company was incredibly helpful and even had a service call and a/c repair on the 4th of July. We can’t wait to come back to Hawk’s View!
We had an awesome long Memorial Day weekend. The views are outstanding – one day the clouds were below the house so the views were above the clouds, while the others were clear and you could see for miles. Great fun dining out ( Stone Soup and Purple Onion highly recommended ), while equally nice seating on the deck during the evenings. We also visited two wineries that were a short drive – with fun ambiance. We even drove to the top of the mountain, past the waterfall and came down on the other side. Time flew before we had to leave. The home in part is 1/4 restored log cabin, which is attached to modern construction. Very solid and exceptionally clean and well maintained. Bedrooms are private and the hot water plentiful. Note – it is easier entering the driveway when going up the mountain, but our jeep was able to do the turn in going down.
