In addition to the views, the home is truly beachfront with a stream and, did I say, incredible views

ABOUT HAVEN HIDEAWAY

Our family loves it here. The place sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms so you can bring your friends or the kids and grandma. That way everyone is ready for scenic fun at the beach.

Have youbeen to Copalis Beach before We are North of Ocean Shores, quieter but still a quick drive into the restaurants, shops, bike and moped rentals, horse biking riding and more.

You can walk directly out to the beach. There is stream you can wade most of the year. In winter the small bridge is just 2 blocks north. Either way it’s a joy to feel the ocean air, see the birds and experience the mighty Pacific Ocean.

The kitchen is fully outfitted with pots, pans, oven and range. For the table you'll find plates, flat ware and more. You can make a nice family dinner here without feeling cramped.

WHAT GUESTS HAVE TO SAY

Our family picked Haven Hideaway to rent and we have been back every year. Just perfect for us - Jonathan.

Dad fell asleep on the deck when the sun went down so we left him out there until it was time to roast marshmallows. - Cynthia.

Then come home to the upstairs where you'll find the living room, dining room, kitchen, and one of the bedrooms this one with a queen bed and 1 bath.

And let's talk about a view again. Yes, there it is from the chairs and couch in the living room. Or you can sit out on the second floor deck, watch the sun go down and smell the sweet sea air. Ahhh it’s the life.

Downstairs is where you will find the other two bedrooms. One has a full queen bed, and the other has two twin beds with another sitting area. The lower level also has a laundry room and 3/4 bath.

Kitchen fully stocked but pans had to be washed before use. Also cupboards could use a good cleaning, very sticky. Furniture was not comfortable at all for women in their 60's nor in the best of shape. Trouble with lock when returning from beach - it didn't work, just spun. Maint. personnel came a broke it for us. All and all we had a restful stay.

The property had great views as advertised. Not much else. The beach was a hike away, not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. The house was clean but dated and rusty. Few amenities, not even coffee filters or enough TP. If you want to do beach time, bring everything: towels, chairs, beach toys. It was easy to get places like Lake Quinault.

The best way to summarize our overall impression of this property is tired. It was very disappointing to find it was rather different from the pictures. Everything from the furniture, bedding, blinds, paint, appliances, etc. was just old and tired. Many aspects of the property need updating. The downstairs bathroom was rather odd, with it being a combination of bathroom and laundry room. There was nothing to indicate how to get down to the beach, there were no check-out sheets/instructions, there were multiple outlets/lamps that didn't work, lamps were dusty and dirty, along with the windows. (One window couldn't be opened without it practically falling out.) When we went to leave, we tried to leave the key in the lock box, but there were no instructions for securing it. When we attempted to contact someone about it, we were not able to reach anyone by phone, and just left a message. We were grateful someone at least called to let us know they were aware of it. The area is rather remote, and was a long drive from the rain forest areas and other points of interest. It is not a place we would return to. Overall, a disappointing stay.

The location is good. Good kitchen amenities although dated. Could use a proper cleaning. Terrible beds and even worse pillows and quilts. The couch was broken. Decor was good.

We are a family of 6.PROS:1. The beach is GORGEOUS. You have to walk down the street and cross a bridge to get there, but it's not far. In every type of weather it was just stunning. We averaged 25000 steps/day, all on the beach!2. The upstairs living room is a nice space hangout space. Wish it had one more chair (it seats 5). 3. The view from upstairs is absolutely incredible. 4. The kitchen has a decent amount of counter space for people to cook together.5. There's a corner store just a short walk away with a little bit of everything including fresh produce. 6. The dining room table is big enough for board games and for a family of 6 to eat at.7. The coffee table is big enough for jigsaw puzzles.CONS:1. The basement rooms are COLD. We had the heat on 100% of the time for 5 days and never got those rooms warm.2. The bedding is thin. Even with extra blankets (small and also thin), my kids slept in their jackets to stay warm.3. The neighbor's heat pump is very loud. It cycles constantly and woke us up several times per night.4. The couch arm was broken, one table lamp was broken, and several outlets didn't work well.5. Supplies are minimal. For 6 people for 5 nights, we were given 3 small kitchen garbage bags, 3 dishwasher pods, 1/3 roll of paper towels and 3 rolls of TP. There's no foil or plastic wrap. 6. Knives are SUPER dull. Bring your own if you're doing any cooking. 6. There's no recycling, so be prepared with bags to pack yours out.

Great views, upstairs furniture was updated. Sheets had large rips and holes. Blankets were pretty gross. Kitchen utensils were very old and the cookware was non existent and falling apart. Lovely view out the window and nice selection of games and dvds! With some updates this place could be really nice.

We felt the pictures did not really portray the property. Plus, it did not say there was NO beach access. The house was older, the sheets were thin, and the refrigerator leaked water on the floor the first night there. We will never return to this location.

We had a wonderful time. The property was as described and even better. The furniture has been replaced/upgraded since the online pictures were posted. The host was easy to communicate with. The house was clean and everything was in good order. We would stay here again.

View was beautiful, house was very clean. We had friends staying at another VRBO, & we did all our cooking over there, so cannot speak to the kitchen supplies. I’d stay again.
