Everything was as described and great!

Perfect place and perfect location. Within 30 mins or less to everything! Biffs place has everything you need during your stay, even a pinball machine,air hockey and foosball for entertainment. Very clean and cozy. Biff was an excellent host, even messaged doing our stay to make sure everything was going alright.

We had a great time at this old renovated church. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The host could not be more easy to work with. The location was great and in a nice area. I woke to deer feeding in the wooded are outside the bedroom window. We will definitely be back.

Biff is a great host very accommodating everything was just as described.

This was the absolute best house I’ve ever stayed in. I spent hours looking at all the amazing memorabilia. Gave me so much nostalgia. The host was amazing. Will be staying here again!!

Very unique, fun property! We had so much fun bonding, playing in the game room, marveling over a the cool treasures all around the house. Plenty of room for large gatherings and a great location. Communication with the host was very timely and he is so pleasantly easy going. Would stay again!

Fabulous time! Fabulous place! We came for the Farm Show, but almost missed it because we were having so much fun in ‘The Church’! We had everything we needed upon arrival. EVERYTHING. The place was warm and cozy even though it was cold outside - it felt so inviting. There are tons of rooms and places to investigate. Coolest memorabilia. We very much appreciated the instruments on the stage - family jam session! And the beds were very comfy - worth coming back for. We’re already planning our return. Communicating with Biff was easy and pleasant and he got back to me very quickly. Thank you, Biff! This was our first experience staying in a VRBO - the bar has been set HIGH.

Biff was an excellent host. He was quick to answer us and figure out we had a tripped fuse for the basement lights when we got there. There is so much to look at, you can't see it all in a day! Of course there is also the graveyard from the 1800's to checkout. The church is not set up for anyone with walking or balance issues. There are lots of steps involved. My family will never forget this mini vacation!

We had amazing time here . You could just stay inside for a week enjoying what place has to offer. Kids had so much fun . The owner just understands that you are on vacation and wants you to enjoy and relax. Would definitely stay there again. Next time in summer so we can use all the stuff outside .

The house was just as pictured. It had a lot of character and provided a ton of entertainment. Between the games, the bar and the instruments. My family really enjoyed the stay. The owner was very responsive and very kind.

This is a unique house with something for everyone. Former worship space turned into a comfortable living space with collectibles galore! Our family had a great time browsing through everything and just spending quality time together.

Exceptionally fun yet practical property. Big space with all the amenities. Really big TVs, 2 refrigerators, air hocky, foosball, etc. Property owner is an exceptionally nice, wonderful, down to earth guy. We loved our stay!

We were only staying for one night (a stop on our long drive home), but we totally enjoyed this home. So many interesting things in the house. And the beds gave us a good night's rest for the next leg of our journey.

Pretty much everything you need for a vacation home... Lots of soaps, dishes, etc. Huge TVs, board games, lots of art, notes, and music instruments. Building is a very old church (pre-1900), so some steep steps to be aware of, and some bugs do get in through the windows upstairs. But everything was advertised and would book again... Biff seems to enjoy making the place as fun and quirky as possible and everyone had fun

Great last minute, pet FRIENDLY, overnight stay. The most unique rental ever - and I mean that in a positive way! It was just me and my two older labradors. Fit our needs perfectly. Clean, safe, comfortable - those are really all you need - the rest is gravy. Since I am in the area frequently for work - most definitely will stay here again. Thank you!

We had a short but nice stay. The host had a well stocked kitchen for coffee and breakfast and worked very hard to make us feel welcome. Very eclectic and fun leaning a little towards the creepy side with the cemetery right beside the house and the skulls planted in different areas. The host worked very hard to make sure we knew that thus house was “different” before we came.

Staying at Biff's place was like staying at your favorite uncle's place. It isn't fancy but it's welcoming and clean. You feel like you're staying with family. It's so unique! There are so many cool pieces of memorabilia! We loved taking a trip down memory lane and exploring his collection. My family had fun playing the instruments too! There are board games, darts, air hockey, and other fun things to do. It was so nice to have a place that allowed us to bring our little dog and it was close to Hershey where we went to see a concert. Biff made sure to communicate details about our stay in a clear and timely manner. We will definitely stay again if we're in the area.

The property was exactly as described . Biff communicated every possible need and was very accommodating. The house is an experience. Honestly once I saw it online and that he accepted dogs, I just had to book, even though it was bigger than what 2 people needed. There is so much to look at and it’s so unique. It was close to Hershey which we visited as well as broad street market in downtown. Everyone should stay at least once, if you’re in the area. I even did some research on past history of the church.

Great place to stay! Can’t recommend it enough. The colors, the nostalgia, the family jam sessions, the fire pit, the game room, and even the cool little cemetery all created the perfect atmosphere for our family getaway. Biff is an excellent host. We will be back!

All the little nuances, historical items, and details in the house enhanced the experience

House was accurate to the listing with the exception of the upstairs tv did not work and the one other bedroom light wouldn’t stay on. Otherwise, I would rate an 8/10 overall.

Our stay was extremely disappointing due to serious cleanliness, safety, and security issues.Home was dirty on arrival: cobwebs, mildew, and heavy dust. One of the humidifiers contained stagnant green water.An upstairs window A/C was poorly installed within an open window, far from secure or weatherproof.The (singular) full bathroom had no working lock; the mechanism was taped over—with five adults and seven children the inability to lock the door while showering or using the restroom was highly inconvenient.Further, the only shower was filthy with orange soap scum.The listed basement “bar” was unusable due to a strong musty odor, exposed wires, missing faceplates, and no working lights. Our message to the owner about locating a light switch went unanswered.Most concerning, the front door keypad didn’t work, and the house couldn’t be locked from the outside. We had to take valuables with us and worry about potential intruders. We reported the lock issue around 9 a.m. and didn’t hear back until nearly 5 p.m. (We only stayed two nights so the delay in a return response was significant).Overall, the home’s poor condition and unresolved safety/security problems made the stay nearly unbearable. I cannot recommend this property and urge the owner to address these issues before hosting future guests. On a final note, we were told any refund or partial refund required us to 'not' post a review, which is troubling.There are many reviews, yet none reflect experiences like ours.

We had a great time here!!! Biff was a great host and very responsive with any questions or concerns we may have had. The house itself is the most interesting and unique place we've ever stayed. I loved all the cool items and decor around there and all the colors. My kids had a great time playing games, listening to music and making music with all the instruments there. There was more than enough space for my family of 6. Everything was clean and comfy. Everything we needed to have a nice, fun, relaxing vacation. I will definitely keep Biff in mind if we're ever in this area again. I also definitely reccommend this house to anyone lookong to stay in this area.

From the moment we pulled in we knew this place was going to be not only relaxing but fun! Clean and in a safe area. Only stayed overnight to attend a graduation in Harrisburg but already planning to stay here again next year when our youngest graduates. Nice owner and great communication. Thanks so much!

Really nice place to stay

This was the most unique VRBO I have Stayed at. All the memorabilia, the games and decor were wonderful. Biff was very open in using all of the house and amenities. loved the downstairs bar and games. Many beds to chose from for sleeping arrangements. Great place!

Great old house. Very clean. Excellent host communications. Modern kitchen. Basement game room with bar. Living room stage with band instruments you can actually play! Would stay again.

I can speak for myself and the guests accomying me that this house was wonderful and very accommodating. The living room and game room make for ecellent places to spend time with family. The house is very considerate of sleep with plenty of beds, sleeping bags, pillows, etc. Overall 10 out of 10

The style of the house is amazing. Biff is an awesome host. Please stay here if you are in the area and are looking for something different than the usual cookie cutter hotel or rental home.

We booked the property for one night while we attended a concert- the moment we walked in we were instantly kicking ourselves for not choosing a longer stay. The house is amazing. So cozy, so beautiful and fun yet super functional. Everything was clean and the host was super accommodating. There's so much to do and look at. Definitely one of our favorite stays even though it was only a day. We can't wait to make a return visit though!

We loved our stay at this unique home. So many interesting things to look at on walls and furnishings. Our host was very welcoming and easy to connect with.The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We only utilized two of the beds but I guess you could have lots of people sleeping here due to all the upstairs beds. I personally would not have liked to be one of the upstairs sleepers if you had that many! There are 1.5 baths. The half bath is in the “vestibule” and was cold during our stay(it is an old church so understand that) and could benefit from an update.Compared to the many other places we’ve stayed through VRBO, it was not as clean (needed dusting and floor washing).Overall it was a great space for our needs and we would definitely stay again if welcomed.

Overall property is a fun venue. One bath is not sufficient for the size.

We started planning my parents combined birthday party. I was unsure how things would go as my sister’s cancer came back as we were planning this gathering. I told the owner the situation and that until we knew what her immunocompromised status would be we couldn’t give him a definite number. My sister found out it was stage 4 and wanted to have a party for them with their families. It was truly perfect. Everyone loved the venue. The venue had extra tables and chairs and everything we could want. My parents loved it and most importantly my sister loved that we could do that for them. We never would have been able to do that without the understanding and patient host. Thank you for allowing us to create that beautiful memory at your home!

My family of 4 and another family of 6 stayed here overnight for the PA farm show. While it worked for us, the pricing is not clear up front so it's difficult to make a comparison with other properties in the area. This property appeared cheaper than other options but once the per person fees were applied it was not. Ultimately it worked out for us and was conveniently located for the farm show, but it was not great with small kids because of the instruments and knick knacks everywhere.

This house is a great place to stay with friends and/or family. There is an amazing amount of memorabilia and funky decor to explore. We were only staying one night so we didn't get to look at everything. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house is amazingly quiet. It is close to restaurants and stores - and the PA farm show. We would definitely stay there again. If the weather had been better we would have explored the cemetary next door.

We decided on a rental this year instead of a hotel, and it was a great decision. This place was so homey and warm. There were things for our son to do, and everyone had their own space. Property owner was kind, flexible, and in great communication. Highly recommend!

I stayed for one night just me and my husband for his birthday. The address led us right to the property. The area felt super safe. We were able to DoorDash our dinner no problem. The owner was very communicative the day of to make sure we were able to check in with no issue. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was perfect for us as a couple. The place looks exactly as pictured. Lots of beds to choose from we felt like Goldilocks! The place has a downstairs bar area with loads of board games, books to read, a dart board. We loved the old school stereo set up. Felt like we were taking a trip back to the past. Wifi is available as well as several tvs. But we didn’t need it! There was so much to do I didn’t even need my phone. This place is perfect for couples looking to unwind and connect with each other. It was so peaceful and we’re already talking about going back!

We are a group of 60 something women and all we do on a girls getaway is talk, eat, and laugh. Here we got to play in a band and spend time looking at an almost neverending collection of knick knacks fascinatis.fasing

Biff was a great host - very responsive and quick to answer any questions. The house was definitely unique. We didn't spend a ton of time there between a wedding/Hershey Park, but it seemed to have everything we needed. Only con was a lot of stink bugs in one of the bedrooms that led to 2 people in our group deciding not to stay and getting a last minute hotel. That was a pretty big bummer. Also, the cemetery right outside was very cool ;)
