Stayed Jan 4, 2026Exceptional location for our family summer holiday. We have stayed a few times in Tairua but this has been our favourite place to base ourselves. The property is a quintessential kiwi bach with everything we needed. The kids loved exploring the estuary out front. We have absolutely loved our stay at your bach Heather - thank you for having us. We would love to return!

Stayed Apr 20, 2025Awesome little cottage classic kiwi bach! On the water front, 45second walk to town, shops, restaurants, playground - almost fish off your doorstep. Heaters for if it’s cold, kayaks (be careful of the fibreglass wife got splinters in her arm lol) we are going back for sure the people in that town were lovely the food was great what a place!!!

Stayed Dec 23, 2024This is a lovely and basic batch - in a good location to estuary and shops. Beach only a short drive.However advertised with smart TV- BUT NO WIFI, although there was a modem. We think in this day and age WIFI should in included especially as listing shows smart tvThis is the reason for our slightly lower rating Also no BBQ - it would have been nice to be able to BBQ. Overall a reasonable Bach.
