The cottage was perfect...just as it was represented. Owls Head is in the perfect place to see everything along the coast. I would definitely stay here again.

This house is like going to grandmas. It was so charming. It was clean and the location is perfect. The only thing that might be a negative to someone is the bathroom is upstairs which was not an issue for us at all. I would definitely recommend.

Four of us ( New England childhood friends now in our 70's) just spent three fantastic days in this lovely, quaint, and comfortable home in Owls Head. The harbor view is beautiful, the outdoor space ( about an acre) was very peaceful with an enormous deck, and the house was super comfortable and spacious. The home was also immaculate, with very comfortable beds, really nice linens, a fully equipped kitchen, and a nice updated shower/bathroom. The location is also great as it's so close to Rockland , Camden, McCloons ( best lobster roll ever! ), the lighthouse, and lots of nearby places to hike and walk. The Owls Head General Store just down the road had delicious breakfast, coffee, as well as excellent lunch and dinner options. No need to cook ! We all travel together frequently , and we agreed that this home was of the best places we have stayed in. Plans to return next fall! Thank you.

Comfortable king bed. Nice big fridge. Large living room. Liked assorted games and puzzles. Stairs a bit tough for older guests.

Beautiful little cottage. Great location. Views were spectacular from the deck. Peaceful area, and still close to Rockland for additional amenities needed.

Very cute, comfortable, and quaint. We enjoyed how quiet it was and having access to the Lighthouse down the road. We took full advantage of the fire pit as well

Great location if your looking for seafood, lobster facility across street that will sell lobsters right off the boat, very quiet street, lots of seafood restaurants all around, light house adventures one on the same road as this home. The only downfall about this property is there is only 1 bathroom and its on the second floor with bedrooms other than that it was fantastic, also transportation museum on route 73 about 4 miles from home lots to see there also. It is and older home with a huge yard to play games in we played jarts and bocce had a great time with grandchildren.

Stayed just for an overnight, but it was super relaxing. We (family of 5) all had room to stretch and relax after a long drive. Location was great and right down the street from the lighthouse and the Harbor Park. Inside was extremely cozy and cute. Only issue was where to put our trash on the way out, but the owners were quick to respond to my question and it was an easy fix. Thanks for having us.

Great location, reasonably priced.

This house feels like it could share a novel of memories. Although it is older, it is well maintained and well equipped.

The cottage was in a beautiful location, fully furnished with everything we needed and had more room than we needed!! We enjoyed spending time in Rockland and Camden. Would definitely recommend for a quiet, relaxing retreat.

Wonderful property for a quiet retreat. Comfortable living room and great outdoor space on both the deck and around the fire pit. Remodeled bathroom has large shower. A cozy home that is just minutes away from shops and restaurants in Rockland. We had a wonderful visit and would definitely recommend this property for its location and serenity.

Other than a few cobwebs, the house was clean, organized and had everything we needed for a great visit.

Wonderful seeing the sea and feeling the breeze. House is warm, cozy, and inviting. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy, look no further.

Everything was wonderful!

This was what I was looking for . Quiet , simple , clean . Might not be everyone’s cup of tea . Cellphone coverage was spotty . Not for the vertically advantaged, ceilings are low . Check-in directions did not match up with the property, my inquiry to the owner was unanswered, I figured it out, some people might get upset/confused, if arriving at night/in the dark could have been a problem .

The pictures are accurate and this place is lovely. Owners were very quick to respond to communication, and I didn’t have any problems during my visit, but if I had, it was nice to know they were on top of the correspondence. The only thing I would mention is that the bathroom is on the second floor and the shower door can be difficult to open, so if someone in your group has mobility issues, this might not be the place for you.
