Happy Place by the Lake w/ Fire Pit: Walk to Beach

Nice place and had all the amenities that was described

We had an amazing time staying here! The house was comfortable and spacious inside an out. The many different sitting and dining areas were great. Had a blast playing cornhole on the big front yard The view of the lake was nice and having the beach and playground less than a minute away decreased driving time and maximized fun. The projector and popcorn maker made for a great movie under the stars. Everything we needed to cook and make our stay comfortable was there. The host communicated and answered every question we had. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.Added bonus was the photo I took of the Milky Way from the nearby lake.

This place was an absolute delight. Walking distance to the beach and the house had everything. Decor is so perfect that our daughter asked us if we can go home and redecorate our house to match it. Thank you so much. We will be back again!!!!! Host was quick and responsive.

We really enjoyed staying at this property for a family vacation. Great location and the house was perfect for our family of 6. There were kayaks for use and we loved using them and exploring the lake. We used the fire pit and corn hole set every day and really enjoyed eating on the front deck.Check in was a bit confusing because the community sent incorrect/outdated info but that had nothing to do with the owner and she quickly responded when we were having trouble. Would definitely go back!

We stayed for 3 nights and only wish it was longer. The check in process was easy, the house was beautiful, and the location couldn’t be better. Lakeview out front, and hot tub out back. The bed was comfortable, same for the couch. The fireplace was the best one I’ve ever seen. There was one tiny issue that was taken care of quickly, so the communication was great. We’d definitely stay again!

Had a great time close to ski resort and the house was cozy and came with a hot tub which was amazing after a long day of skiing.

My family and I stood here for the holidays and all I can say is WOW! This home is BEAUTIFUL I couldn’t get over the decor! I have no complaints stay here and you won’t either!

I decided to take my fiancé to the Poconos for a birthday weekend getaway. After staying at the Happy Place in 2023, it was an easy choice to return. Valerie is an incredible host who truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable weekend. The house was even more fantastic than last year! With its amazing location and cozy atmosphere, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. We will definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay with friends. The house was perfect for our party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The space was clean and the location couldn’t be better - just steps from the playground and beach 2. We were fortunate to have cool fall weather and took advantage of the fire pit and gas fire place. I could see the bedrooms getting warm in the summer as there isn’t central air. Our host, Valerie, was absolutely wonderful - quick to communicate, provided clear instructions, and very accommodating. Only complaint was we tried to cook one night and couldn’t find measuring spoons but we made do! We would definitely stay at this house again!

Beautiful home! Clean and spacious for the whole family. Great location for all of the outdoor activities! Owner was very attentive and responded quickly! Both adults and kids had a blast!

This place has a covered front porch with a view of the lake (through the trees). I spent every morning out there with my coffee for some quiet time. The house is very comfortable with room to spread out, there is a little reading nook my son liked to take over. Arrowhead lakes has a family game room with ping pong, pool tables and air hockey. We tend to eat out a lot but everywhere felt like a good drive to get to.

We had such a relaxing vacation at this lakehouse! We enjoyed making s’mores in the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. The community center had a very nice game room that we explored on a rainy day during our trip. The rental was the perfect size for us with 4 adults and 3 children. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone in need of a relaxing vacation! The only critique that we had was that the bed in the master bedroom creaks a lot. Otherwise this rental home was perfect for our time spent there.

Perfect getaway for kids of all ages. We recently stayed at the lakehouse with 3 year old and my friend's and their big kids. No one was bored. The older kids were busying kayaking and socializing with other kids while my 3 year old was busy swimming at the lake or on the playground. Easy walk to the beach. Can't wait to go back!
