Happy Feelings by the Sea 30A Townhouse, Golf Cart, Resort Pool, Prominence

Great place - great location! We loved being in the middle of 30A.

Overall it was fine. The townhome was clean and the access details were easy to follow. The instructions for checking out were also easy. The app was helpful. Plenty of starter supplies provided like soaps and toilet paper. Location was good. Golf cart was great. We were disappointed to find out when getting there that the master bedroom was on the second floor very close to the guest bedrooms. I guess we should not have assumed it was a split plan. There was a huge rip on the couch when we arrived. The bedroom with the bunkbeds was warm. It does not have a ceiling fan. They did provide a tower fan, but it didn’t help with the heat so the kids had to sleep on the couch. There’s a lot of cooking supplies but there’s no pizza cutter or pizza pan. Only one baking sheet. Our phones did not work well there even on the Wi-Fi, but that’s a carrier issue and has nothing to do with the townhome. Our cell carrier is CSpire. The kids loved the communal pool!

We have been staying at Prominence 30A for the last 5 years and this particular property did not meet the typical standard. It was not a bad place to stay, it just did not have many of the amenities that we were used to. There we no extra household items like garbage bags or paper towels. The furniture (couch) was damaged (rips in the fabric. Huge eye sore) and stained , the unit was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. The unit letter was also not listed online so it was challenging figuring out which unit was the correct one.

We loved our stay at “Happy Feelings”. It had a beautiful interior and everything we needed. The bedrooms upstairs were great for our family of six. The pool is fantastic and heading over to the Big Chill for dinner and shopping was easy after a day at the beach. Would book here again.

The only suggestion we would make is to furnish the kitchen with a cookie sheet (or two) and replace the king mattress- it is terribly overdue and probably the worst nights sleep we have had in a while. We need mom and dad well-rested to keep the crew afloat. Ha!
