Fall is now here and the Water is well below the dock, too low to swim or fish from. but the Lake and Mountain views are still absolutely beautiful!

We have a Fabulous Central Lakefront Location, Indoor Jacuzzi Tub, Corn Hole, Fire Pit , Lakeside Grill, Juke box , Pinball , a Well Appointed Kitchen, Super Comfy beds , Karroke, WiFi, Easy Access and absolutely No houses to block your views!

Welcome to Smoky Mountain Family Serenity, we rent to small familes and thier childrenor couples looking to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle.

Main policy, only the registered guest at the time of the initial booking are to be on the premises during the reservation no exceptions. No guest visitors.

To secure your reservation without risk of cancelation legal photo ID verification (example: a photo of your state drivers licence) and the names and ages of all guest to be registered is required.

Your photo ID must be provided via VRBO message or by promptly emailing/texting the owners when you initially book, be sure to introduce your self and the reason for your stay, ie. family vacation, birthday, Mother's/ Father's day, Wedding Anniversary etc. so we can help you celebrate!

This policy is monitored for the safety and security of our property, management staff and our guest.

The Photo ID must match those arriving on property upon check-in.

Location, location, location! We're so lucky to be centrally located on the Lake's Main channel exactly where everyone wants to be, with a direct drive. (No long skinny unkept curvy back roads or waterless coves here) Just smooth sailing and plenty of Lake!

In the Spring and Summer...
We have a large private sun and swim platform for you to enjoy. Bring your swimsuit, sunblock, skis, tubes, swim noodles and paddle boards. Relax, Float, Swim, Fish, Paddle and when done climb the ladder back up or use the easy access short set of stairs.
We have a floating Boat dock, in addition to the large swim platform and walk right into the lake easy access stairs! Bring your fishing boat or rent a boat from one of the Marinas, located just down the road.
Boat rentals: Two neighboring marinas are nearby, with pontoons, speed boats, personal watercraft and tubes for rent. One with soft serve ice-cream and Pizza included with your rental for everyone in your group they also don't charge extra for the fuel you use. The other is just a bit further down the way and has a nice restaurant/grill with lakeside dining! We can get you connected.

** Notice** Onsite parking is limited to two separate off road parking areas. At maximum and in total, they will accommodate two standard vehicles or three compact vehicles, or one small 16-18ft boat trailer and one truck. We do NOT have room for a large personal boat / trailer parking at current. Do not book with the assumption or expectation of parking your larger boat and/or trailer on the property.

The local marinas have historically allowed our guests to park their larger personal boat and trailers overnight and launch from their dock for a small and reasonable daily fee. We can provide more info for you to confirm prior to booking, please inquire.

The home is one and a half levels with two large bedrooms with super comfy beds and two full baths. The Master Bedroom is privately located downstairs boasting a King size bed and a full bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is on the main level, tucked away from the living area, it boast a Queen size bed and a huge picture window for a panoramic view of the lake. We also have a sleeper sofa in the living area if you need an extra bed. The main bath is centrally located on the main level with a shower and jet tub combo. Both bathrooms are stocked with drying towels, hairdryers, and some extra special conveniences.

If cooking is your thing then get ready to whip up something special. We have the equipment you need, want and then some!! Our fully functional kitchen includes a full size fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, Keurig and additional 12 cup automatic programmable coffee maker so you can wake up to the Aroma of your favorite morning Java! A mini-heart ♡ shaped waffle iron, large crockpot and a blender to whip up some nice smoothies or frozen Margaritas!! Multiple measuring devices, herb infuser, pots, pans, plates, glasses, wine glasses champagne flutes, utensils and unique serving equipment!

Outside sit back and have your favorite brew or glass of wine while waiting on the outdoor charcoal park style grill to cook your steak just right!

We have designated outdoor lake use towels for your time swimming and sunning and a medium sized beverage/sandwich cooler for your boat rental or to take along with you on your hiking adventures!

For those relaxing nights or rainy days we have an already paid Netflix app loaded for your binges on the Smart TVs with plenty of other TV apps loaded such as Roku, Peacock, Pluto, VUDU, etc. the list is extensive or you can utilize our wireless internet (WiFi) to sign in to your own Hulu, Amazon or other streaming services. We also have plenty of board games, DVD's and other entertainment items. Including a stereo with indoor sound bar which is also connected to the outdoor deck speakers, you can choose to listen to what ever is playing or play your own music by connecting your phone.

So much and more...

Plenty of seating and eating areas on the decks and chairs for the swim deck! There are multiple indoor and outdoor areas including a large fire pit! Smores anyone

Enjoy a cookout, have a family picnic or just rock your cares away in the wooden rockers while playing some checkers on the deck.

Later, take a swing in the hammock with your Honey Bear or quietly curl up with your favorite book right by the shoreline. The Lake is calling you!

What is near

Besides the Marinas and this Beautiful Lake and Serenity. There is an Italian pizza shop, food trucks, old fashioned ice cream parlor, lake side restaurants, fishing and bait shops and the neighboring historic downtown area. Grocery stores, gas stations, fast food and ATMs .

If one of your destinations is the Pigeon Forge/Smoky Mountains, don't fret we are located just 8 minutes down a highway street along the main route into and out of the Pigeon Forge/Great Smoky Mountains area. We are just far enough out of the way to get out of all the hustle-n-bustle and relax from a long day, but not too far to jump back in it all the next day. Action Packed Pigeon Forge apx 30min and Historic Downtown Dandridge (2nd oldest city in TN) apx 8min.

So, if you are the type who is looking for a real vacation with good mix of relaxation and fun action packed things to get into then our place is the place for you!

Anything else

Our property is located on the lake's main channel, meaning we have water year round!! Easily accessible Spring to Fall and water views all throughout the year (Douglas Lake is a 33,000 acre reservoir lake, water levels are controlled by mother nature and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). The lake water amount does begin to decrease in the autumn around Labor Day and is at its lowest in mid-winter. Depending on rainfall, the lake increases to standard full capacity around April-May and does fill up to our bank shoreline, providing easy and direct lake access).

**Attention** Remember, if booking in fall, winter or early spring and water level is a concern, please inquire.

Before reserving, please read and accept all terms of the rental agreement contract attached. Ensure to disclose all persons who will be guest at our home, their relation to you and their ages. This is the same written document where you will find the house rules, check in and out procedures etc.

The home is located in a low key business and safe residential area with other visitors and owners enjoying their time, please be respectful of the neighbors regarding noise, levels and their property. Please drink and swim responsibly, no lifeguards on duty. Adults must always responsibly watch and protect their children here. For added safety and security exterior cameras are on the property's perimeters. Owners are not responsible for your belongings or your personal safety, we urge you to use common sense and lock up the home when not on the premises and to always move around the home and premises utilizing handrails and watch your step.
