Happy Bear Inn

Even though the place was old it had a very homey feeling. Loved it & host was very accommodating. Would come back & recommend this place

This property is old and dated but was clean and tidy it suited our needs so was very happy with it .plenty of room

We enjoyed our stay at Happy Bear Inn. It was well set up and had everything we needed. We especially loved the giant teddy bear!

It was a lovely house with all the amenities. The owner put a lot of thought and effort to endure the comfort of the guests. Thank you for a lovely stay. Looking forward to my next visit.

The internal fittings looked tired but the owners were on site and extremely helpful and friendly. There was no dining table only a bench and the cupboards had seen better days. Lighter coloured walls would have made the entertainment area brighter.

Lovely place, lots to keep the kids occupied. Jim and his dad are very helpful and we enjoyed staying there.

Good place to stay with kids.could improve with cleanliness and all rooms being aired prior to arrival.

This property needs a good airing and clean, it is run down and in need of repair. There were no utensils in the kitchen, hard to prepare food without these. It;s location is quiet, no issue there but the property needs some tlc.

Kids loved the big teddy. Place is a little rundown but lots of beds to choose from.

The property was easy to find, the location was quiet and felt overall good.I was concerned when I realised that the accommodation may have others straying. The house had been converted into 2 units.Within the first few hours this was confirmed because I saw a man in the back yard, through the window while I was changing my daughter. My children and I were the first to arrive out of our group. I felt uncomfortable because I wasn't sure if this person could access our unit via the back of the property.We did not access the back yard due to this.

steep front step. lighting dull. wifi poor. christmas tree still up four mnths later. no instruction on how to use anything in the house . no milk other that litre of lactose free ewww. house needs good reno. very dissapointing.

Property was great location, but not well maintained or cleaned. Well stocked consumables and owners very pleasant.

Owner is a nice person. Dining room chairs are not stable, oven filthy, cupboards filthy, a few tiles are very loose near bedrooms. Shower in laundry was mouldy & unclean. Needs to be cleaned thoroughly. The cleaners should do a better job. Looking for the fitness centre only a bicycle available. Location was good though. Overall we had a good time anyway.

Loved our stay, great value for money. Would recommend to anyone to stay at The Happy Bear Inn.

We had everything what we need , quite place to stay

Accommodation was very comfortable. Came over for a festival and football, and driving to and from the accommodation was very easy. Very very friendly hosts, helpful and fast to respond to queries. Would book and stay here again.
