Stayed Jun 21, 2025This property is amazing! Not right on the water but great view of the ocean, can hear the ocean and 3minute walk to the beach!! Beautiful property and plenty of extras such as a jacuzzi, sauna, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach toys for the kids, and an on-site private outside shower to clean up after walking or playing in the beach.

Stayed Nov 5, 2019Nice, spacious, clean property - right in the heart of Hana. It was a perfect place for us to take a break in Hana (instead of doing same-day round trip). The house was well maintained - good place for our group. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook a quick meal. Nice balcony and just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Overall, loved the stay. Don't forget to check out welcome notes from the host (and massage chair in the lower floor), they are very helpful.

Stayed Jan 20, 2026Loved this home. We stayed only one night but want to return to stay longer to enjoy some of the cool features of the home, like the wood counter tops, large couch facing the ocean, sizeable kitchen and dining area. The upper balcony was the most enjoyed by our group of 6. Sleeping accommodations were perfect. Proximity to the beach, less than 3 minute walk, was also a bonus. Highly recommend this gem in Hana

Stayed Jan 5, 2026The home is beautiful and so relaxing. It has ocean views and lots of handiwork from the host to restore the home and it’s amazing. Our host was also very gracious and even gave us fresh fruit to enjoy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Dec 4, 2025House was spacious and ocean view was beautiful however there are some items in the house that ideally should be replaced such as the rusty welcome binder, dishrack, silverware holder, and paper towel holder. The second level windows did not have curtains so the next house can see directly into this rental therefore offering no privacy.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025We chose this home because it is close to Hana Bay and we wanted a place that could accommodate our whole family of 6 adults and 2 children. We could walk a few blocks to the bay and the home's 3 bedrooms are comfortable and large. The view of the sunrise over Hana Bay is perfect. As it gets hot in Hana, there are many overhead fans that are quiet and work well. The owner was staying in a small cottage adjacent to the home and it was great to get to know him. He is building another home on the property, so the grounds no longer look as pictured. However, the construction work did not bother us as it is to the side and back of the rental.

Stayed Oct 11, 2023Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. It was perfectly located in the middle of Hana town and had gorgeous views of the ocean. We loved having coffee on the lanai every morning! It was difficult finding a rental property to fit our size of group (8 people), so I was very pleased to have found this one. Our host was extremely kind and communicative. The updates that have been made to the property are great, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The only things that made our stay less than ideal were the bugs and geckos. We knew ahead of our trip to expect critters as this is a tropical location, and we appreciate the desire to use natural cleaning products and not poisons - but it did make it pretty hard to sleep at night (especially with little kids) after having to relocate several geckos and cockroaches from the bedrooms each night and waking up with ant bites from the bed. Once we found out which windows the critters were likely entering from, we were able to close them or plug the cracks, but without air conditioning that made the rooms very hot. I think this problem could be helped a bit by either adding some window AC units to the property to help cool things down without the need to leave all windows/doors open, or by sealing some of the windows/doors/screens a bit better to prevent critters from entering so freely. Again, we were aware that critters happen, so it's not a huge deal - but it did freak us out a little more than we expected.
