Hamptons House - 4 Bedroom House + 4 Bedroom Cottage with pool

Justin was a great host and made check in and check out extremely easy. Unfortunately, we were very displeased with the condition of the property. When we arrived it was not clean. It seemed like people just left. There were old loofas/shampoo left in the shower like other renters had just left. All towels were washed, but left in the basement(none in linen closets in bathroom). All the shower doors leaked into the bathroom and would soak two full floor towels during each shower. The landscaping looked like it hasn’t been taken care of all summer. The pool heater was broken, tiles were falling off the walls, and the wasps were relentless flying into peoples face which made it impossible to hang by the pool. The deck had water logged boards that were so loose someone could have fell through. To put it nicely, this place is not worth the money and totally fell short of any expectations. Needs major maintenance and would be worth it if the property was better taken care of.

The property was as it looks from the images (including the swan float too - our favorite part)! Perfect space for us to enjoy the outdoors and pool during the summer. The grill worked great and the kitchen/fridge were great sizes to hold all the food we brought with us. The bedrooms were large and cozy as well. We had a great time at this location although we left early due to the impending hurricane Henri which was said to make landfall directly where we were staying. We loved this property and our host made check in very easy. We would definitely recommend and come back again!

GREAT HOUSE! This house met all our needs! Owner was quick to respond with all our questions before booking and made check-in seamless. Perfect location. Plenty of space to park. We were a large family group and got plenty of space! Both the main house and the cottage were very clean and fresh smelling and bright with light. Loved to have a separate cottage for different age groups in our party. Internet and cable working fine! Great open floor plan for our group to cook in well appointed kitchen and eat and chat. All bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless. Fabulous deck space and yard. Pool looked beautiful (though not open in March). We had a TERRIFIC stay! Highly recommended and will DEFINITELY be back this summer!

The location of the house was great. Nearby a few towns in the Hamptons. The main house was decent. Nice open living area. Definitely not what I'd consider luxury. Lots of food left in the refrigerator from the previous stay; name tags taped onto the bedroom doors from the previous stay, no knobs on the oven to control or use that; cable box only got the first 12 channels; big water stain/patch in the kitchen ceiling. The cottage was filthy, two bedrooms were in the basement which was dank, spiders everywhere; sheets had mold on them; bathroom had one working lightbulb out of 4. The list goes on. I have several pictures to back up my claims. The house could be great, but it needs a renovation and should be thoroughly cleaned between uses. We won't stay there again.
