Haley Pond Haven - great Depot St location!

Great location

Upon arrival at Haley Pond we were in love with the view and at first glance, the house as well. The grounds are beautiful and the architecture of the house is exactly what you are looking for when thinking about renting in Rangeley. It is also very close to town which was very convenient! With that being said, we have been renting in Rangeley for the past 5 years and sadly will not be back to this property. This house was not exactly what was advertised. It was advertised as a four bedroom home. We needed the space for three couples and our children. Unfortunately, the finished downstairs with the additional king was not ideal. Upon arrival it smelt like gas and had a very musty scent. There was no railing on the stairs making it very unsafe for our children. Safety wise it was not to code. We had to settle and use the loft for the children. There was also no water provided in the filter, and no fresh sponge for dishes. Luckily, we knew to bring water from previous trips, but as a rental things like water should be provided as a curtesy. We still had an amazing trip, but this property definitely lacked in a few rental amenities.

Haley pond haven provided perfect spot for our group of multiple adults and children to fully enjoy Rangely's winter time adventures. From skiing to building igloos on the snow covered pond, all the people in our group ages 3-50 had an amazing time. Cooking and sharing meals in the beautiful great room was a significant highlight of the house. And the basement was a great spot for kids to sneak away while grownups socialized. Would definitely stay here again.

Another wonderful family Thanksgiving in Rangeley. If you're traveling to Rangeley anytime from November 1st to April 30th?, don't forget to pack your boots and hats and mittens. I don't think we've ever been to Rangeley during Thanksgiving (our 15th year) without seeing some snow. This weekend graced us with close to 8 inches. The house was big and bright with a wonderful view of Haley Pond. A local called the location the business end of the pond and he didn't mean in a mercantile kind of way. If you're looking for escape from noise and people and stress, you will certainly find it at this location. And if you're adverse to stairs, you might want to know there are quite a few to get to the first floor, especially if you are lugging enough food for 10 people for 5 days plus Thanksgiving dinner. A good time was had by all.

House was really really nice and one of the best that we've rented. The very private waterfront property offered easy snowmobile access to trails and a quick ride to Saddleback. Highly recommend to any large family or group of friends. Would definitely rent again. Thank you to the amazing team at Morton & Furbrish for recommending this home for us!

The house was very clean and well equipped. We loved seeing deer walk around the property, along with good parking for trailers and trucks. Easy access to the snowmobile trail we would definitely stay there again!

This house was perfect for us and we loved our stay. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed at the Deeds property. This place was perfect, close to town so we could ride bikes or walk and on the water too! The house was very clean and nice, looked freshly painted and plenty of outdoor space. There was no gas for the outdoor gas grill but no big deal.
