Hale Ohana - Beautiful 'House of the Family' - Poipu Beach - sleeps 6

Fantastic home for a family stay! Very comfortable beds, and kitchen is one of the best equipped I've ever stayed in. Close to Shipwreck and Poipu beaches (walking distance for some folks), and great location to get to other Kauai sights. Host was totally responsive and very helpful. Air conditioning is great. Lots of beach towels and beach equipment. We were 6 adults, and agreed we would all be happy to stay here again! I can imagine how great it would be with young kids or teens.

I have stayed in many VRBO's in Kauai over the years and would consider this one the best overall as far as cleanleness, well stocked with kitchen supplies,beach gear and other misc items. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom has indivisual AC control. The hosts were VERY accommodating and good to work with.My two grandkids were part of our group and they enjpyed the spacious yard to play in.If I ever need accommodations again for up to 6 people three bedrooms I would for sure stay here again. We loved our stay.

Very nice place, the new AC was a bonus. Location was great not to far for anything. Traffic was good, even with the construction of the round about on Poipu Rd. Enjoyable vacation, and great place to stay.

We had the best time and the Hale Ohana was the perfect location for our Kauai vacation. A well-appointed house in a quiet neighborhood, conveniently located within walking distance to Poipu beach. The disc golf course a few houses away provided hours of outdoor entertainment for the kids. We'll definitely stay again!

The home had everything we needed! Just about a 5 minute drive to popui beach and close to a variety of restaurants!

Great spot, near the beautiful Poipu beach. The backyard was great for the kids to run around, and the home had everything we needed for our stay - even some beach items.

This home was spacious and comfortable! 3 nice bedrooms with comfortable beds! Very easy access. Would definitely recommend!

This is a lovely house in a nice quiet neighborhood, very close to Poipu Beach. Our family had a wonderful vacation and cannot wait to return.

The hosts were great and very responsive. We really liked the location and its quiet, residential feel. The beach and nearby shops are walkable — about a 15 to 20 minute walk.There’s lots of space in the house and a beautiful backyard that’s perfect for stargazing at night. The house can get warm if there isn’t much of a breeze, but the air conditioning in two of the bedrooms worked well and kept things comfortable.

Great place, friendly host, has air conditioning in two of the bedrooms. The kitchen utensils are well stocked, albeit somewhat random. Overall I couldn't find a better place for the price.

Property was as described & location near Poipu Beach. Kitchen was well stocked. Excellent communication from host & kindness extended when incident occured that completely my fault.

This house was pretty much the perfect size for my wife and two kids. The property was very clean and had all of the amenities listed. Although of note, the listing did state that there was no air conditioning, however there was a window A/C unit in the master bedroom, which was very nice. We stayed in Kauai during the month of August so it was a bit warm in the other parts of the house so just be aware of that.

We enjoyed our stay. This house is at an excellent location. It is very quiet with nice neighbors. You can reach each sides of the island and makes it very convenient to sight see the island. It would be nice to have air conditioning in living room.

Check in procedures were very simple and easy to follow. The kitchen had all the things to prepare meals if needed.

We had a great trip to Kauai. You definitely want to use Makana charters for your boat ride to Na Pali.The property was in a good location and quiet (other than the roosters that are everywhere in kauai :) ). Technically you can walk to the beach --- but better to drive than carry all the beach stuff. The property provided all the beach gear you could this of.I didn't read the amenities carefully enough - there is no dishwasher and air conditioning is only in the master. The lack of A/C was only an issue when we first arrived -- once we opened the windows the kauai breezes made it cooler.

The house was beautiful and open! It was perfect for my family and within minutes if everything we needed.

Recently we spent a week at Hale Ohana - family and friends. It felt like home! Comfortable and cozy inside with plenty of space, beautiful and relaxing - green! - back yard! Naturally we didn’t spend much time in the house but while being there we didn’t miss anything, all amenities and necessities were present. Close to good food and beautiful beaches , great for snorkeling.

We were very pleased with our recent stay at Hale Ohana. The place is exactly as advertised, The home is stocked with everything you could need for a great stay, including beach supplies for all! We didn't cook, but if we had, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. There are plenty of fans and enough air flow to make up for no air conditioning. We could, and did, walk to the beach and some other nice walks from the house. Thanks for a great stay!

Comfortable home with all the amenities needed for a great holiday in a perfect location.

The host has obviously made every effort to equip the house with everything you need for a care-free stay. The kitchen has high quality cooking essentials. The appliances are new, including a washer and dryer. Furnishing are also high quality and tasteful. There is even a collection of beach and ocean gear. There is a wealth of local information in a three ring binder and several hiking books. The house is nicely decorated with collectibles and other items that add to a comfy feel.If I ever make another trip to Kaua'i I would definitely stay at Hale Ohana again.
