We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One of the highlights was being able to pick fresh oranges from the backyard tree — they were absolutely amazing! Such a special touch that made our stay even more memorable. We would definitely love to come back.

The house was fantastic - great condition and cozy and comfortable. They even provided beach gear like boogie boards, snorkels and beach towels, not to mention local coffee and cookies on arrival. The location was close to grocery stores, easy to get to downtown, and close to the beaches as well. Only downside were loud roosters in the neighborhood, but that's just part of being in Hilo. Overall the stay was fantastic and would definitely stay here next time we're in the area

The rooms were comfortable with AC in each room - good since it was a little warm in Hilo during our stay. The extras - snorkels, fins, snacks and such were great. The grill, laundry and appliances were all perfect for our needs. This was a great location for the many places we wanted to visit and was really close to the grocery, Walmart, and other places we wanted to run to. I'd be happy to rent here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here in Hilo. The house offered a great spot to wind down at after a long day out and about. We used most of the beach stuff on our various trips to go swimming! The host provided great information about places to eat and see and recreate and the house is walking distance from a few things if you need a break from driving!

Great location to everything we wanted to do!

We loved this property. It is cute and well appointed. We were delighted to arrive and find a gift of local treats from the host.

This home was perfect for my small family. Well equipped with all necessary amenities and even some extras, including coolers, beach, chairs, beach, umbrellas, snorkels, and boogie boards. My kids enjoyed running around the yard and picking fresh fruit. Very cold AC in all rooms made it comfortable to sleep at night. My only complaint would be the neighbor’s dog has a very loud bold bark, but we understand that there’s not much that the host could’ve done about that.

Great location within easy walking distance of so many great places. We were given clear instructions and helpful suggestions for restaurants and groceries. The free welcome basket was unexpected and so amazing!! We parked at the street level because the driveway is steep. We loved our stay and would happily stay here again!

This charming and conveniently located home had everything we needed to have a great stay in Hilo. The host was responsive from booking and during the stay to after we left. We loved Simone and would stay in this home again! Clean, so close to the sights and a nice size with beach gear!

We stayed at this property for the Hilo portion of our big island trip. We had 2 kids, 3 adults and the house was perfect. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots pans, storage containers, etc. I was impressed with the quality of kitchen ware. Note: there is no dishwasher, but it was not too much of a hardship to hand wash uo the few dishes we used.The collection of beach supplies was appreciated. Including snorkeling gear, boogie boards, towels, chairs, etc.

This house was perfect for our family. My wife and I, and our two children (9 and 12), enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. Had everything we needed, AC worked well, house was clean, location was central to all sight seeing spots in Hilo, close to other shopping centers for supplies. Communication with owners and check in/out was a breeze. Highly recommend ! We would definitely stay here again and are already planning our next trip to the big island. Thank you guys so much.

Two friends and a teen stayed here for our vacation to Hawaii while we checked out the Hilo area and Mauna Kea. It was nice each having our own room. Comfortable home with nice amenities. Only issue we had was a fuse blew out and knocked out power to the three A/C units but that got resolved quickly. Very friendly hosts. Enjoyed an orange from the tree out back. Only suggestion is to add a strainer to the kitchen wares (maybe there was one and I was too sleepy to find it to strain my OJ). :-)

There are not many listings or hotels in Hilo especially for family of 5. This place was right in the heart of Hilo, only 7 minutes from the airport. It was very nice and well appointed property and would been excellent for a longer stay. We loved the one night we were there and the communication with property manager was excellent.

Loved the property- clean, beautiful, private and safe. After the first night we opted to use the earplugs for bedtime as the next door neighbor has roosters and the other neighbor has barking dogs. We didn’t find that a huge issue but mention it as this was not in any of the other reviews. Owner was kind and prompt and left instructions to contact neighbors if dogs barked but I didn’t feel comfortable doing that every morning at 6am, personally.
