My family loved it. It was clean cozy and cool looking with plenty of space and amenities. Walking distance to siesta beach and village. No complaints.

Very close to beach and village. Lots of space. Bathroom has unpleasant odor, ceiling fan in bedroom didn’t work. They did bring in a floor fan helped keep room comfortable.

My babies and I absolutely loved our time on Siesta Key! Lisa is absolutely wonderful. The home is stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation and many thoughtful touches. Super awesome location!!!

First time visiting Siesta Key, and we couldn’t be happier with our stay! The house was beautiful, the location was perfect, and communication with Lisa was outstanding from start to finish.We stayed as a family of four and had plenty of space to relax and spread out. That said, we spent most of our time enjoying the beach and the village—both of which were an easy walk from the house.This property exceeded our expectations, and we’ll absolutely be staying here again on our next trip to Siesta Key!

We had the best time here in this cute villa. The location is wonderful, we walked to the village which has everything you need. My husband loved it so much that he wanted to stay another week. Lisa was wonderful to work with.

The cottage is a great location about a block from the beach, the most beautiful white sand beach, Siesta Key and a wonderful veterans memorial tribute every night at sunset. The beach is pristine the cottage had everything we needed. The check in was a breeze. The main street was a few blocks the other way and great restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay.

Exactly as described. Clean, quick access to beach, perfect stay. Enjoyed having beach essentials all provided, chairs (brand new), wagon, umbrella, cooler, etc. Will definitely be staying again soon!

Great visit some issues but all resolved quickly! Communication was great w host and the 2 minute walk to the beach was great!

Great location at an affordable price. It was perfect for our family of 4. It was a two minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to Siesta Village. We are so lucky we found this little gem right next to the beach.

Location location location. Nice spacious unit steps to beach. Beach cart umbrella and nice Tommy Bahamas chairs. Private parking nice outdoor space. Could use some cooking spray and spices but everything was great overall

Property was so close to the beach and Siesta Key Village! Clean, lots of extras that you typically have to pay for at other places (beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, cooler). Very cute cottage. Lisa was great, easy to get ahold of! We will be staying there again!

We had a great stay at the Gull bungalow, and the proximity to the beach was incredible! Our host, Lisa, was very attentive and helpful- making our stay enjoyable.

The host was extremely friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to any inquiries. The property was welcoming and in a great location in proximity to the beach. We highly recommend this property.

This was a perfect place to stay for our Sarasota vacation where it was a really quick and easy walk to the beach which was super convenient! The home is beautiful and really enjoyed the extras that were provided like the beach towels and chairs. They had super cool littlr touches including leaving ligjts on.

Everything was fine except we got invaded by flies in the unit the last few days. That was rather annoying.

We could not find the bucket for water to wash our feet from the ocean. They had extra blankets for the cold weather.

We had an amazing stay in Siesta key. Lisa is a wonderful host and a great communicator. The property is very clean and has everything you need for a beach getaway. The location is also great, very close to the beach and to the restaurants.

This is a great location! You are less than a block from the beach and just a few blocks from the village. We very much enjoyed that as we walked anytime we had an opportunity that we could.

Had great short beach vacation on Siesta Key and enjoyed GULL. Host very attentive, surprised and appreciated the extra touches like fresh flowers , coffee , nice beach chairs, wagon. Cute older 2 bedroom cottage but very clean and the AC systems kept it so cool .

Old Smelled of Musty mold 5 fans and wall units no central air . Old place needs to be taken down and rebuilt. For that price there are So Many Better Places To Stay on Siesta Key . Had to check out 3hours after moving in and find a New place with Central Air in the 100 Degree Heat . All the Same day moved in moved out . Found something So Much Better!!!!

As promised, cozy and clean. The location is perfect, the provided beach basics were great, and plenty of towels. Fantastic value for our family of 5.

Perfect location! So easy to walk to the beach!

Our third year returning and it never disappoints.Everything we needed was there, beach cart, chairs, umbrella, steps from the beach and the Village. Lisa is a great host and always responds quickly if we have any questions. Looking forward to next year

The house was very cute, beach style cottage. Lisa was very easy to communicate with. She made the check in process easy, and responded to our questions right away. The location is the best part, beach access just behind the property, and quick walk to the village area with shops and restaurants. The cons are that the house is older, so definitely has some small quirks, there is no centralized AC, but they have installed a split AC unit in

The “Gull” was just as described in the details. Perfect location and very clean. There were beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella and cooler provided. We had everything we needed. Lisa was quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely stay in one of Lisa’s rentals again!

Lisa was great, you could tell that she really loves her property and wants you to have a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, a very short walk to the beach with a fabulous view of the sunset and just down the street from the restaurants and market.

The unit GULL was nicely restored after flood damage from the hurricane and Ms. Matthews is a good host. The neighborhood, on the other hand, has not fully recovered. There remains a lot of litter/debris on the ground and there is active and noisy construction of large concrete hurricane-proof buildings adjacent to Barefoot Bungalows (my reasons for 4 not 5 stars). The beach remains beautiful, and Siesta Key Village is open with the crowds returning.

We had a great experience staying in the The GULL at Siesta Key. It had everything we needed and the location was perfect for the beach and the village! We would definitely return to this property for future vacations!

Everything was as expected with the property - however, there was no communication about the cleanup and construction going on all around - I know it was out of your control with the hurricane damage, but I would say that we overpayed for the condition of the area.Lisa did a very good job with communication and the checkin process - Thanks

We absolutely loved our bungalow and Lisa was the best. Unfortunately hurricane Helene blessed us with a visit. We made the decision to stay since the eye was in the panhandle. Bad decision. Lisa made sure we were safe and moved us to another property on higher ground and made arrangements for us to get off the island the day after. Above and beyond. Thank you for everything!

The only thing was the door between the master bedroom was stuck open.
