Gulf Moon II - Spacious Beachfront Home with Pool on the Mississippi Gulf Coast

Loved being right across the road from the beach. Close to good restaurants. Plenty of room for our group of 9. Host is very responsive to any concerns.

The house was perfect for our group of five couples for the weekend get together! We enjoyed the pool and the location was convenient to shopping and restaurants!

This is our 2nd time renting this property and we love the set up and that the beach is right across the street. We did have an issue with the water that had a bad smell, the owners were very quick to respond to help us out. We would rent this property again.

This is a great property. It was enormous, clean, and true to the ad was right across the street to the beach. Don't let the street deter you - just walk across and you get perfect sand and calm water. This is the Gulf, so don't expect blue water... but the sand is perfect and the beach is tended to regularly by the county.The pool was a great way to cool off at night and we made liberal use of it. We would not hesitate for a moment to stay here again if we're going to be in this area.

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the pool or the many gathering areas. The covered area by the pool was our favorite though.

My family and I had the best time at Gulf Moon Two. It is a perfect place to spend time with family. We enjoyed the pool tremendously and the beach view is hard to describe adequately. We will look forward to staying there again.

The location was perfect, offering both peace and easy access to local attractions. The host was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, making check-in and communication a breeze. Second time staying here with our family. Beautiful weather so we were able to enjoy the pool. Beds comfortable rooms large. The faucet in the kitchen still broken. We will be back next year

We enjoyed our stay! Property was clean and nice! It was conveniently located so that we had easy access to get to all the places we wanted to go. Restaurants and stores were close but not too close to loose the beach feel.

My husband and I stayed at this property for the first time. We made a wise decision. Communication with the owner was excellent. Very clean and comfortable beds. Location was great also. Definitely would stay again.

Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. My husband and U are originally from Long Beach. We moved to Southaven after Katrina destroyed my husband’s dental practice. We were married in the ruins of St. Thomas Church on June 3, 2006. It was my husband’s wish for his Celebration of Life service to be held there as well. I stayed there along with our oldest child and his family. It was a wonderful place for us to be all together. Thank you!!!

We had 7 adults & 2 kids staying for a holiday gathering. My grandkids loved going to the beach almost everyday. I loved the paved sidewalk that ran along the beach.Gulfport was an easy drive. We loved their Holiday light show & were able to get into the aquarium for free the following day.We plan on coming back to Golf Moon II next year!

Locked pantry, which necessitated placing items on the kitchen island, which served as a table. Rather unexpected-not to have a table to serve the Thanksgiving meal. Pool was lovely and crystal clear-not practical for swimming in the November chill. The linens were clean and the house well maintained. The baking and cooking wear need to be replaced.

Loved our stay so much! Plenty of space for our families and great location. We enjoyed lots of local attractions, did a day trip into New Orleans, and even hit a concert in Biloxi. Some enjoyed the casinos, others the beach. The pool was a hit, too. The hosts were great and made us feel very comfortable and gave us local suggestions. Would stay again if they would have us!

The only problem that we noticed was the ice maker would leak water when you would open the freezer door, I don't think that it's working properly, and the kitchen faucet looks like it was broken but it worked.

Location couldn’t be better and check in was simple. Just cross the street and you are on the beach. Or, take the back staircase and you are in your own private pool with cabana. Plenty of space for us all!

Overhall this is a very nice house, which has been updated. It is nice & large with plenty of space for our group of 5. The house is located on a busy main road, so you do hear traffic noise. The location of this home was perfect for our gulf coast vacation, we spent time in New Orleans (1.25 hours from house) Biloxi & Gulfport. The house is located directly across from the beach, which was great. We did have to make a trip to pick up some household items, we had empty hand soap dispensers in 2 of the bathrooms, 1 roll of paper towels (for a weeks stay). I have stayed in many VRBO homes & this was one of the most minimally stocked (kitchen) homes I’ve rented. There are a few minor issues we encountered which weren’t enough to bother the host but should be addressed. The queen bed’s headboard off the Jack & Jill bathroom, squeaks so badly all you had to do was touch the mattress while walking by. We eventually stuffed pillows behind it & shoved the bed closer to the wall to stop the squeaking. I would also recommend installing a handrail for the staircase to the upstairs (nothing to hold onto especially when taking luggage up & down the stairs) The cover on the kitchen faucet is loose & was off when we arrived. The faucet works fine, the cover just clangs around. We enjoyed having the pool right in the backyard & did use it a couple times. Pool guys came one day while we were there to clean/treat it, so it’s nicely maintained. We enjoyed our stay.
