Outstanding property. As pictured. Clean. Comfy beds. Fantastic floorplan. Stunning porch views of sunrises and sunsets. Three families with kids during Christmas holiday. Plenty of room for all. Kitchen absolutely stocked with plates, glasses, multiple size pots, pans, baking sheets, small appliances. Array of beach gear - chairs, paddle boards, lots of towels. Kid gear - high chair and plastic dishes. Games and books. Simple check-in and check-out. Excellent communication with property managers. Planning to book again for next year!

There were 10 of us, moms and daughters, and we loved the location and the spacious living area/kitchen as well as the private beach access. That was a game changer for not having to lug beach gear all the way into the room each day. Outdoor shower and storage area there was fantastic. Home came with everything we needed and more! Plenty of parking too. We are already talking about returning with our families!service was also top notch - great communication before, during, and after!

We love being able to walk down the porch steps and into the sand. It is conveniently located and near a lot of local restaurants and a Publix grocery store.

The beaches are well maintained and not very crowded. The house is very clean and well maintained. We spent so much time on the deck... The sunsets from the deck are second to none. The management company were so helpful with all of our needs. We felt safe at all times. We consider A Shore Thing our 2nd home. This property is fantastic... We will be coming back many times....

Only minor issue was outside faucets did not work without irrigation system running. Would stay here again.

Our last two are going off to college next month so it was a great place to celebrate and have our last trip together before everyone is spread throughout the country at different schools.The open floor plan was great for the boys to play games and spread out while the girls could chill out on the back porch right in front of the beautiful white sand beaches and clear water. Beach Front location cannot be beat! Just a walk down the back stairs and you are on the beach in an uncrowded area. We could come in and out for lunch, snacks, or just a beach break with zero effort getting back to the house. No cars. Bikes, or golf carts needed, except to go to dinner. There are 2 bikes provided if you’d like to use them. We loved hanging out on the back porch after a day at the beach to cool off before dinner. Ashorething is close to many great restaurants in Rosemary Beach, Inlet, Seagrove, and Grayton beaches.The team and especially our contact Shaun at Royal Destinations were on top of keeping in touch with us for any information we would need. Also, our questions were answered promptly. Fantastic customer service!There is only 1 thing I’d suggest. The house is vey hard to find at night for Ubers or door dashers. We even passed it a few times after being out because there are no markers around or near the driveway. A sign, reflectors, or a flag would help. However the privacy is great and this is not a complaint, just a thought.I’d give Ashorething a 5 out of 5 stars and would definitely stay there again.

Reviewer Comments: We have been renting 30A gulf front properties for over 20 years and this property is our favorite to date -- great location, floorplan, and common areas were perfect for our current family of 8. The beach was not overcrowded and obviously easy to get to with the private access. We tend to cook in the evenings versus dining out and the kitchen is well outfitted for large family meals.At this price point, we did expect better communication around WiFi name and password, trash days, beach concierge and bike combination locks at the very least. This is the first property where this information was not provided either prior to arrival or was in the unit upon entry. Again, at this price point, your guests expect and deserve to have this information at their fingertips. As it was, I had to contact Royal Destinations for the WiFi name and password and the beach concierge (found on the 2 chairs that came with the rental) to request additional chairs and for waivers to access the combination locks on the 2 bikes included in the rental. The outdoor shower water was scalding hot as there was no cold water plumbed to/available from the spigot -- Royal Destinations was quick to respond, but it was not repaired prior to our departure. We probably tracked a lot of sand into the unit unnecessarily as a result.Overall, a fabulous experience with some minor opportunities to make this an elite 30A destination.

The house was spacious and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

Reviewer Comments: There are so many things that are wonderful about this property (this is our 6th year to stay for our family vacation) but there are a few things that need to be addressed.The WiFi is terrible. It is hard to watch TV (constant buffering), dropped phone calls, hard to send emails/texts, etc. Outside water hydrants did not work so unable to clean sand off of items taken to beach. Also, the outside shower had hot water only so unsafe from child standpoint.The outside grill is inoperable and needs to be replaced.House seems to be getting a little “tired” and needs some love.
