Gulf Front - 2/1 Private House/Beach - Spectacular Views

Nice clean home in a great location along the beach.

Home away from home with an amazing view of the beach. The beach house was clean and accommodating with everything me and my family needed for our stay. Thanks you Fran for your generosity and warm welcoming.

This was our 2nd time staying here. The listing is as advertised (and More) and Francine is a fantastic host. We had a fantastic time and look forward to round 3. Thank you for sharing you little piece of paradise with us.

We absolutely love this property as well as the hosts. This trip was our second time back and we have already booked our third and are planning our fourth trip/return. Francine and Fred are amazing hosts that go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. It feels like home away from home and we never want to leave the key when the time comes.

Quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we were looking for. Plan to return.

Our stay was great. The upstairs cottage has a small screened in porch, and great air conditioning. The outdoor shower was nice to rinse salt/sand off. Great view of the waves. Fully equipped kitchen. If I was going to think of anything that could be improved upon, a larger outside shaded area would be welcome for the bright sunny/hot summer days to lengthen our time outside…maybe like one of those larger sun sails or a canopy of some sort. They do provide some smaller beach umbrellas and plenty of seating and grills. Its an adorable (and pet friendly!!) property and thankful to have found it!! We look forward to staying again.

There is nothing like a relaxing weekend stay at the beach (except for a full week at the beach) and this place provided everything we could have wanted. Peaceful setting right on the water, no crowds, no loud noise, just peaceful time in a beautiful setting. Francine does a wonderful job providing everything you need. The sunsets are breathtaking, the shelling is great, the walks on the beach are memorable. This was our second stay and I'm sure there will be many more in our future.

We absolutely loved our two weeks stay at Cottages By The Sea in Englewood. Our hosts, Fran and Fred went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we would need. We were so surprised when we opened the frig to fine a nice bottle of Champagne that they left for us to enjoy on our 50th Wedding Anniversary! We walked miles and miles every day and found all kinds of shells and tons of shark's teeth, over 600 shark's teeth in total!!! We went to the Dearborn Street market on both Thursdays while we were there which was AWESOME. So much to do in this cool community. We loved that Englewood is such a dog friendly community too. We met so many people from all over the USA and a family who were visiting from France too!! We will definitely be back for another stay here!!!

It was so nice to be so close to the ocean. This was a great clean and updated place to stay. Loved our stay.

This property is fantastic!! The pictures do not do it justice. Ocean and beach are 50 feet from the patio. Best ocean front I have stayed in. Apartment was clean had everything we could have needed. We just did a girls weekend but would defiantly come back for longer!! Francine was very nice and answered all questions. Highly recommend!!!

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed in the unit since 2009 - with a different owner each time. It gets better every time! Furniture and master bed are comfy and kitchen is very well stocked. The beach is perfection - beautiful old Florida. We ate at Lock and Key and drove to Venice to Captain Eddie’s. Both are wonderful. Francine is a gracious host and met us at check in to give us a tour. We’ll definitely be back!
