Guesthouse on Lonesome Hollow: Hot Tub & Mtn Views

This cute little home nestled away in the hills of WV was the perfect place for an extended weekend get away! We had a wonderful time, watching movies with the fireplace in the back ground! The hosts were the best and so fast to answer any questions we had. We walked into a welcome sign, and farm fresh eggs! We have shared this home with friends who love WV and snowboarding like we do! You will not be disappointed!

Everything was perfect! Just what we were looking for and everything we needed. The hot tub, the views, and peace and quiet were all what you would expect from the listing. The free fresh eggs and honey, along with views of ducks, chickens, sheep and plentiful deer made the stay feel even more like the small farm it is. We wanted a peaceful getaway and got a really upscale little home in the hills, with privacy and solitude.

My wife and I stayed five nights in this wonderful location. Open the front door and it’s a big WOW. So spacious, modern, and the cleanest place we have ever stayed, making it that much more comfortable. Everything is of the best quality, and details are well thought out. Loved the shower and hot tub. Silence is golden, and dark skies allow for great stargazing. Hosts are thoughtful and are nearby if you need them. Centrally located to many attractions if you’re willing to take a beautiful drive. Can’t say enough good things. Hated to leave.

Pictures of the property do not deceive. The real thing is as good as the pictures. Clean, well equipped, and close enough to the Marlinton trail access. The hosts have provided all the comforts of home. Beautiful and peaceful setting. Already hope to go back.

We had an amazing stay. The house was immaculate and the patio/hot tub were the perfect place to relax after a long day mountain biking at Snowshoe. The EV charger was a real lifesaver as there are so few in WV.

We went away for a long weekend just the two of us. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path. Small house, but has it all for a couple or a family of 3-4. Nice yard space, was clean, open and we loved staying hwre. We even were given a dozen farm fresh eggs. Would gladly stay there again.

Excellent property with very nice hot tub and well stocked modern kitchen. Great for staying to go to ski at Snowshoe. Even had a nice glove drying unit. Will definitely stay here again next year.

This property is immaculate. The hosts were very accommodating. Everything was clean and accurately depicted by the pictures. The host provided a dozen of their farm fresh eggs as well as a jar of their homemade honey. If you are looking for a quiet place to unplug and enjoy the mountains, this is the perfect place!

The house is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone in the area and needing a place to stay. Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view all the way around.

My family stayed last June and had a great experience. Returning in July 2024, this property is well maintained and accurately represented by the photos. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. The spa and shower are awesome to return to after a day of fun. The animal watching and stargazing are a nice feature as well to the location. Great house and host!

Property was exactly as advertised. Interior was immaculate and comfortable. The host were wonderful and very hospitable. The Hot Tube was spectacular and healing after a long day riding bikes.
