Guesthouse less than a mile from Gruene Hall! Sleeps up to 4! Private Hot Tub

Wonderful home in a beautiful location. Very comfortable bed and living room sofas. Having the mini kitchen w/ a refrigerator was the icing on the cake. Minutes from Gruene, Texas that has amazing shopping, dining, music, and river tubing. And oh my goodness...Deer everywhere to stop and see!

Check-in was a breeze, and everything was very clean upon arrival. Although our mini fridge wasn't cooling properly and there were some low-hanging limbs over the driveway and parking area that scraped the top of our vehicle, we were very pleased with our hosts. They were highly responsive, quickly replacing the fridge and trimming the branches.We were, however, disappointed that there wasn't a view of the beautiful surrounding area from the guest house, and the river was only barely visible from the hot tub area. The scenic river views are primarily available from the deck of the main house, which is rented separately.That said, we enjoyed relaxing in the quiet neighborhood, taking walks, and exploring the restaurants and entertainment in nearby Gruene and New Braunfels.Overall, I highly recommend these hosts. My only suggestion would be to trim some of the brush and add comfortable seating near the hot tub area so guests staying in the guest house can better enjoy the scenery.

Location is in the goldilocks zone for Gruene - just far enough to be quiet, but a couple of minutes' drive to get into town. The shared bathroom is quite large and well-appointed, with a nice shower, seating area to do hair & makeup, and a separate water closet.

Cozy, clean, and great location to downtown Gruene.

The hot tub was great...the bottom of the small fridge didn't cool though but the freezer was working. Might want to check on it.

Very cute little guest house. We would stay again. The air conditioning did go out one night, but they were very nice and and got it fixed the next day.

The hot tub was not warm enough and difficult to find guest house in the dark. It was confusing, but we finally were able to find it. Maybe some signs posted might help other guest in the future. Otherwise, it was nice.

This guest house is tucked away in the trees and you can hear the river below. The deck was the perfect place to have breakfast and dinner. The hot tub was amazing. The place is spotless and welcoming. We would stay there again.

Perfect for visiting. Would like check out time to be extended a hour or two longer.

It was a cute little house.

A hot tub dedicated to this unit does not make it a private hot tub. As is the case with this property. The other hot tub for the main house is about 30-40 feet away, with the main house right behind that. Great setting where it is, even though we chose not to use it due to the location of the main house. Great little place to stay, just wish people would be more accurate with the listings. Also, probably not a good idea to have the sprinklers going at 9:30am when we are loading to leave by 10am check out. No way to the vehicle without getting wet.

Phenomenal property. It was a quick short trip, but loved the location of the home and the amenities it offered. We will be back next year!

They only complaint I have is sharing a driveway with the main house. Someone blocked us in and with the driveway being curvy and dark we were having trouble getting out and there’s a very low lying branch that put a huge dent in my husband top of his truck.

Home was cute and charming with everything we needed to have a nice, relaxing getaway.

For the most part, we were very pleased with this property. Word to the wise: use the photos as an accurate description of what is truly available. The written description indicated that a full kitchen was available (stove, etc…) no, an outdoor grill…no (unless there was one under cover down in the very messy and scary leafy abyss under the stairs/porch), a washing machine/laundry area…no. All of this might have been available at the “main house” but not in the “guest house” where we stayed. We came prepared to use the kitchen area, but we are good at improvising and that’s just what we did, and it didn’t faze us much; however, if you have kiddos or are intentionally trying to cut expenses, don’t rely on a full kitchen. Also, only enough cutlery for two. All in all, this was a great property. We enjoyed the hot tub, the view, and the proximity to Gruene. Great, clean space.

It's a great little house. Fun reading nook under the stairs for kids. It's perfect for a couple or a family of 4 as long as you don't plan on cooking there. Very minimal kitchen and utensils. The location is great. It's a long walk to Gruene but doable. We drove mostly. Nice view of the river.

Property is beautiful but cottage needs a lot of updates and additions to make for a comfortable stay . Especially if it’s for a group of women .
