Guest Favorite! Fire Ring on Sand Walk to Village

We came here for our annual girls trip for a beach getaway and really loved this property. We really enjoyed the fire pit and loved that we were right on the sand. A couple of notes…there really isn’t beach access-to get to the beach you have to walk to a ramp that’s close but there are rocks to climb down or walk a little farther to Buccaneer beach. Also, the grill that’s provided is charcoal. Finally, there are 2rooms with king beds and the third room has a bunk bed and a twin with a trundle bed underneath….we weren’t exactly clear on that. But overall, it is a beautiful property-very clean, close to restaurants, and you can’t beat the beautiful view!

The views of the ocean were spectacular. Lots of surfers, dolphins, seals, boats and ships to keep us entertained. We even had a big rain and wind storm come through one day which was exciting to watch from our cozy vantage point. This home is in pristine condition and well-maintained by the rental agent. We would recommend it to our friends and neighbors. Dick C.

Very nice, well maintained, and well stocked. Perfect for family get away. Kids can get on the beach and shell hunt or go body board during lower tide times. Close enough to walk to just about anything in the area. We were pleasantly surprised with parking that accommodated 2 SUVs.

The beach house is amazing. It was exactly as pictured. The view was amazing and we even saw dolphins from the amazing view from the living room. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is steps from the beach. The beach is was very private and not crowded. We will be back again

Five adults stayed five nights in April. We loved the place! The kitchen had everything we needed. Ate breakfast at the house each morning and had late lunch:early dinner somewhere in town. It’s worth being at the house for sunsets and rocket launches from Vandenberg Air Force Base. When the tide was out, we enjoyed walking the beach in front of the house. Also walked to the pier one morning. Everything is very close and accessible. Nice that there were two parking spaces.

This was the perfect place for us to stay for 3 night on the ocean. Bring your firewood and sit by the ocean waves, relax and look at the sunset near the fire. Really enjoyed our visit.

Our VRBO property was toddler friendly. There were baby gates, baby toys, a Pack n’ Play, lots of sand play toys, and books. It also had an extremely well stocked kitchen with both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker, and lots of wine glasses. To top it off, it had boogie boards and plenty of beach towels. The Surf Museum was great fun and walking distance from our stay.

Absolutely amazing I will be absolutely coming back I cant explain the experience I had at this property! I would give it 10 stars out of 5 if possible. Thank you so much!

Beautiful home with the perfect ocean view.

Host gets one star -- they were unresponsive to texts when the hot water failed, finally responded when we phoned but then didn't seem to communicate with others in the office or get back to us with a request for the time of arrival of the plumber. Listing implied a functional fireplace and they were dismissive when I inquired, suggesting we enjoy the fire pit during high winds and driving rain.

This place is amazing! Steps down to our private yard area. Beds were very comfortable and the home is spacious and has everything you need...including a crock pot and blender and tvs in every bedroom. Plenty of bath and beach towels. There is nothing better than a fire on the beach with your family and friends. Watched the sunset every night from the patio. Saw multitudes of boats, military ships/helicopters, surfers, dolphins and even a seal! Host responded immediately to the few questions that I had.This place is perfect because it's a little distance from the chaos of Oceanside Pier, but close enough that you could walk there for all the restaurants and activity if you wanted. Larry's Beach Club is a block away for some great food and entertainment (karaoke every night and live music every weekend)..we went there several times.Highly recommend this amazing place

We had a good stay. The location was ok. Great view of the ocean but a little off the beaten path. We had to time our walks on the beach to the tide as the water came right up to the rocks unless the tide was out. Not a big deal but would have been nice to know.The unit not very clean (hair on the floor) and quite dated. the lights in the entryway were very dim and not safe. The washing machine and dryer were not in the unit but in the hall. Not a big deal but also not very convenient.No shelves in the fridge.The place was ok but we just did not feel welcome. Would have been nice to have a bundle or two of firewood to start us off, instead we had to drive to several different places to find wood. Host was also not very responsive. Our flight was quite early into San Diego so we messaged the owner when we landed about the possibility of an early check in and never received a response.Would not rent this unit again.Joe

Perfect location for a quick family getaway before the holidays got super busy with other commitments. The view through the big windows from the kitchen/main living area were stunning. We really enjoyed the sandy backyard at the water’s edge, especially in the morning when it was high tide and waves crashed on the rocks below. The fire pit at night was also a big hit. A lovely, peaceful weekend!

Place was amazing. Enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the ocean! Comfortable and convenient! Plenty of room for 2 kids and 6 adults

The pictures barely due it justice- the house is beautifully appointed and the proximity to the surf was just what we needed to relax and enjoy our visit. Will be booking again!

Like being in someone's beautiful home in a convenient location to the ocean, restaurants, groceries etc. the house was clean and well stocked for household essentials and all of the things to get you going in the morning until you grocery shopped. Quiet surroundings. direct access to fire pit and beach. TV was hard to operate (needed for news!) Highly recommend.

GUYS! This is the place! Don't look anymore for a vacation house in oceanside! You've done found it! This was a slice of heaven. The pictures and description were spot on. It was so peaceful and quiet and CLEAN. I am definitely coming back to this home the next time im in oceanside.

We had a wonderful stay. Wouldn’t highly recommend to all. It exceeded our expectations. Immaculate, beautiful, well appointed, and stocked. The only 4 star was because when I contacted the manager when Unit A was in our our beach area she directed me to address the issue with them or move to their space. I believe she should have contacted them. Chairs not marked. However signage clear in our unit. Manager pleasant and I resolved issue.

The owner was great at communication at quick with responses. The beachhouse was in perfect location with great view. Home was equipped with everything you needed. Love the setup, cleanness and supplies on deck. Would rent again. Until next time Cali

Great location, quiet and the scenery was incredible.Nothing like drinking a cup of coffee in the AM and listening to the waves crashing.

The home was beautiful and decor exactly like the photos.The neighborhood was ok just didn't offer much within walking distance. The ocean squirrels were a bit of a nuisance and affected outside time. Looking out at the ocean everyday was breathtaking.

The fit pit on the beach is nice. I wish I had brought more firewood to enjoy more time out there

The house and location were great. We loved the views and the sounds of the ocean. Hanging around the fire pit playing trivia was a lot of fun. We enjoyed many meals and sunsets. Our miniature poodle had fun watching the many squirrels playing in the sand. Overall it was a great location to spend our 20th wedding anniversary.

The house was very nice. Loved hearing the ocean all day. There is no access to the beach which I didn’t realize until we got there. There is a sea wall and at high tide the beach below disappears. The house is clean and equipped. A washer & dryer would be a nice addition but overall a great choice for a weekend get away

I recently retired from local government. I was looking to just get away and relax. This was a perfect spot. The location, the home, the view, everything was fantastic.I will be reserving this location again.Thank you!

Our family loved this beautiful beach home! The views from the house were amazing and we all loved the sandy backyard. We would definitely stay again if we’re back down this way in the future.

Birthday Weekend. Home was nice, pillows need to be replaced. Old and flat. Some bathroom towels smelled like mildew. Need better outdoor carpets to clean sand off your shoes. Need better description of where broom and other supplies are. Overall ok

Very relaxing & calming! Just what was needed! Beautiful sunsets & saw couple pods of dolphins & squirrel. Bonfire was mesmerizing

Property was excellent. Clean and just as described. There were 8 of us and everyone had a great time. We had a little trouble with door codes when we arrived, but all were taken care of quickly.

Our family was in town for a wedding, and the stay at this rental made our visit even more special! All the spaces are beautifully decorated and comfortable. We bought wood for the fire pit and enjoyed s’mores around the fire at night. The views of the ocean were spectacular, and we saw dolphins and surfers enjoying the waves. You are able to access the beach just a short walk down the street, but you can only walk on the beach at low tide which was after 5 pm. Thankfully, the Oceanside beaches and pier are a short drive away. Lots of restaurants close by. This is a wonderful place to stay!
