Gîte de l'Etang Pordic: a real Breton house of character in the country of Goëlo

Big garden for the kids, spacious and cosy house, quiet spot, beautiful view over the village

Me and a friend had a wonderful stay in this house. The host was very friendly and helpful and provided useful information about the house and the surroundings. Everything was as depicted on the site and it was spotless clean upon arrival. We didn't have a car, so it was perfect for us to lend the bikes that came with the house. With bike and/or by foot you reach many great things in the surroundings: The village centre, the beaches, the nearby town of Binic, the big supermarket. I would recommend this house and host and I myself would be happy to return. Thank you so much for this beautiful house, hope to see you again soon!

We spent two weeks in this nice holiday house with children and grandchildren. The house was very comfortable and the garden was well suited for families with children. The host family gave very good and useful information about the house and the surroundings. The walking distance to the village center with bakery, shops, post office and tourist information etc. was very much appreciated. A major business center is also available in the area. Very nice beaches can be reached within half an hour by car and longer day trips can be made into many interesting areas, which can satisfy many different tastes. The small village Binic, located nearby has a fantastic market once a week. We can especially recommend excursions to the Pink Granite Coast where you can walk between e.g. Ploumanac'h and Perros-Guirec. The archipelago of Les Sept Iles can be reached by tourist boats from e.g. Perros-Guirec and is especially interesting for birdwatchers. The peninsula Silon de Talbert is a very interesting and beautiful nature reserve, which also has a rich bird life, especially during the migratory periods. This area also has an interesting flora. Coastal areas around Pordic invites to nice walks along the beaches and cliffs, and there seems to be paths along the entire coast. Cap Frehel is a good starting point for hikes. The house in Pordic is highly recommended and if you have access to a car or bike, there is always someting new to see, discover and experience.

Nous avons passé d'agréables vacances dans cette bretagne du nord que nous aimons beaucoup. La maison est spacieuse et le jardin ensoleillé, le salon télé du haut chaleureux, une grande cuisine bien équipée. La mer n'est pas loin. Un bon souvenir de location, peut être juste revoir la literie qui a fait son temps. Un grand merci aux charmants propriétaires pour leur accueil et toutes les bonnes choses (cidre, gâteaux etc...)
