Group Friendly NJ Shorehouse walk to beach, restaurants, shop, park, ferry 2 NYC

The house is very charming, comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is peaceful yet well situated for walking, biking, a day at the beach and there is no shortage of restaurants and bars nearby. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities throughout the house. We would definitely try to stay here again if returning to the Highlands!

Well appointed home with happy decor! Easy parking in the driveway with multiple access points from the driveway to the house. The location was great with easy access to restaurants, ferries, and the bridge to Sandy Hook.

From the moment you walk in, the Beach Lodge feels more like your friend's beautifully designed home than a rental. The open floor plan is perfect for groups, and the location in Highlands is perfect too, within walking distance to beaches, waterfront restaurants, and shops.  The house is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need - they offer hotel-like amenities and I especially loved how stocked the kitchen was! Cherisse's welcome guide is a game-changer too, with spot-on local recommendations that basically plan your trip for you. This was my second visit and I took the Seastreak Ferry over from Manhattan this time. It’s conveniently down the street and only takes 1 hr (plus it's dog friendly). Cherisse is the kind of host who has genuinely thought of everything, I highly recommend staying here!!!

The distance to the bathroom was far and which the major lighting over the sink did not work... and it was in the laundry room with no door.Host was helpful. HVAC not easy to adjust.Living room was good.Loved the lighting in the dining room. House was noisy with no carpeting.

Great location! We booked for 6 people and there were not enough towels. One person had to bring from home. I also had to purchase toilet paper and soap. The house is not handicap accessible.

Everything about our stay was great. Our host, Cherisse was very responsive to our questions and there was a very detailed house guide that provided us with everything we needed to know and also many recommendations for places to go nearby. We enjoyed having the bikes and beach chairs accessible to us so we didn't need to bring them from home. It was great to have the Sandy Hook beach parking pass as well. The house was actually larger than we expected and centrally located where we could walk or bike to the park, bagel shop, cafe and ice cream shop. The house was beautifully decorated and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in and the water pressure in the showers was delightful. We enjoyed sitting in the yard and hearing the little stream passing through the edge of the yard. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Two full weeks! Comfortable, well decorated space. We situated for Sandy Hook, Sea Bright/Rumaon abs day trips to Asbury.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. It is close to the beach, a lovely local coffee shop and many great restaurants. The owners provide everything you need for a great beach vacation, even bicycles! House is also close to the ferry for a trip to NY. Communication is great and everything is as described. We can't wait to come back!

This beach house is nothing short of awesome! The location is perfect, very clean, it's very convenient to all of the beaches and restaurants, and venues. Our hosts Cherisse and Scott are awesome! They communicated with me with no problem and they are very accommodating. Will be booking again, thank you for everything!
