Conveniently located in an adorable community, the hot tub was very clean, grill could use some maintenance. Would stay again!
The location is amazing! My friends and I loved the location but it is very dusty. My friends and I were sneezing a lot.
Would not recommend
We enjoyed our time at the property, including the bbq and hot tub. The living room is very cozy and it was nice to have the lake nearby for some walks with our dogs.
Well this is difficult to exactly explain as I am very well travelled due to my job. So I was expecting a cabin in the woods … maybe a little off in cleaning ! But it had spider webs upon spider webs ….. which was of course a item ! I understand that cleaning can miss a few areas but the trampoline hanging in the living room was to say the least a bit extreme ! And as this particular spider web could not support 260 pounds at that moment I was disappointed ! Everything else was good to great but the cleanliness was lacking ! I would still recommend though get a stronger web from the spiders or clean them up ! Again still a good place…..
Nice to have hot tub Few minutes walking from the lake I tried to contact the host forTax issue and got no return
The listing agent assured me there was boat access near the property. Then when I called when we arrived, the agent said to go to the maintenance man to get a key. However, the boat launch is not for guests. I specifically asked about that when I booked because we had a boat. Had to drive 15 minutes to put in and take out. The deck was a mess. We couldn’t find a broom to sweep it off.
Cabin was rustic and convenient and fit our needs. Hot tub was very nice. Nice shaded deck, but very dirty with debris because of close trees. Dark wood inside was rustic and made it dark inside. Neighborhood was great and cabin is fairly close to the lake. Screen doors are missing and windows and screens were dirty and sometimes not functional.
The rental process was very simple. The online pictures and descriptions of the property were spot on. The area was beautiful. We saw wildlife every day, mostly deer. The property was very clean and well equipped. We will definitely be back!!
Overall, the cabin was mediocre for a short group stay. When we arrived, the biggest issue was that the two screen doors fell right off the tracks when we tried to enter the cabin. Though we tried to fix them, we had to leave one of the unattached screen doors on the deck for the rest of the trip and keep all doors closed so that bugs wouldn’t come in (we also took photos of the damaged screens upon arrival). The grill didn’t work very well (flame was way too low at its highest setting to even cook meat), but the hot tub was great. Be sure to bring your own cleaning supplies especially Windex and laundry detergent. One major thing that needs to be changed about this listing is the dock slip. When called to rent a dock slip for our boat (as advertised by this listing), they let us know “the board” had decided renters were not allowed to dock right by the property. We had believed there would be lake access from the cabin, and instead had to drive 20 minutes away to a different dock. This plan worked out fine, but the listing mentions dock slips are available and this is misleading. Also note that trash needs to be dropped off at a compactor near the manager’s office, but when we called to ask for the office address, no one could give us good direction or even an address. We ended up roaming through the community with bags of trash in our car until we stumbled upon the compactor. Directions for trash drop off should be more clear. If you don’t plan to spend much time in the cabin and will be mostly outdoors, then I’d recommend this cabin. But I’m not sure that I’d rent it myself again.
