The property was dated, but everything we used was functional (ex dishwasher and coffee pot, we did not cook tho). The price took account of the dated-ness. There were 2 large living rooms which was nice. The dated didn’t bother me too much but the bugs did. As soon as we walked in there was a massive number of earwigs right in the indoor entryway. We immediately called the property manager and they sent someone who vacuumed the area but said there was nothing else they could do. There were more earwigs in the basement (where 2 BR and a bath are) and we had to kill them each time we went down there and every time we entered the house. They ended up in our bags and we had to clear them out. In the primary bath upstairs I found large ants and small roaches. We couldn’t really leave as it was JMU grad and there weren’t any openings but it was very icky. Additionally, the beds were all on very low frames which would be an issue for someone with mobility issues.

This is a great house for family get togethers. There is plenty of room and the deck is wonderful! Easy access to go back and forth to JMU. Loved the bedrooms and multiple places for people to stay. We would go again! The host was readily available for questions.

Our stay was very enjoyable and the property manager was fast to respond and answer questions. The only kitchen item that we couldn't find was a can opener! One of those would be helpful.

Host was very nice and responsive. We comfortably had 8 in the house with our dog (all adults except 2, 1 teen and 1 preteen). I’m always a bit worried staying in a pet friendly house but you couldn’t tell pets had been there before. Plenty of room to move around and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other.

We stayed there for the children to enjoy the resort and us to relax. The place was clean, comfortable and close to everything. The place is well equipped. Since this is an individual house inside the resort, the surroundings were quiet. The property manager was responsive to our questions. We would stay again.

The location was perfect for us, and large enough for 3 kids, 7 adults and a dog to not be tripping over each other. Check in was easy, and the house was comfortable and well equipped. Thanks for making our trip so enjoyable!Def

This house is great for bigger groups. We had 8 people and it never felt crowded. There was room to spread out and room to all sit together for a meal or a game. There are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the lowest level and a huge master bedroom and loft bedroom on the top level, 1 huge living room and another sitting room off the dining area. Loved the small touches that made things easy for us: dressers, closets, luggage racks, extra blankets, starter paper products and soaps. Bonuses: beautiful mountain neighborhood, nearby shopping, restaurants and a really cool brewery (Cave Hill Farms) and a nice treadmill in the house. The property manager was very nice and responsive...made us feel welcomed.
