Stayed Feb 3, 2020We had a great experience. The house was spacious with lots of terrace space. The neighborhood was about 5 minute walk from the main road and 15 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed having several small restaurants, a gym and a few local massage shops nearby. The best part of staying here was Gob. She is the caretaker of the property. She did a great job at keeping the house clean and organized, she was an outstanding cook and we appreciated her help with laundry. Because of her, we were all able to relax and enjoy our time at the house. We all agree (9 people), that we would stay here again.

Stayed Oct 22, 2018I’ll start with the great bits, the villa has a wonderful communal balcony which we really enjoyed and the two ladies who looked after us were fantastic and served up some of the best food we had on the trip. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because there was a strong smell of damp in all the bedrooms (possibly only an issue in the rainy season) and a drainage smell in a couple of the bathrooms. Overall the villa was a little tired looking. Worth also knowing that because the pool is covered it does not get warmed up by the sun and our children found it too cold. That said, I’d still say it was good value for money and what we saved on the villa we spent in Cafe del Mar Kamala which is heavenly. (Surin beach is quite dirty and has no developments so while the closest, is not worth heading to)
