Come relax at this mountain getaway located between the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy the views from the cozy covered patio deck, listen to the birds, and enjoy the fresh air and sound of the winds. Wake up and enjoy the outdoors of what the mountain has to offer: golfing, hiking, chasing waterfalls, water rafting, zip lining, skiing, tubing, etc.

Centrally located and offering comfortable accommodations, this home is perfect for all 4 seasons' visits. Come in the summer to get away from the heat to enjoy cooler weather; come in spring to enjoy the beautiful flowers blooming all around the mountains; or come in Falls for a beautiful mountain scenery of the leaves changing colors; or visit during winter to see the mountain winter land of Waynesville North Carolina.

The home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom has Queen size bed, 2nd bedroom has a double/full bed and a lounge. The living room has a sleeper sofa, that pulls out to queen size bed. There is a wood-burning rock fireplace in the living room. The mountain homes were designed with the comfort of our family, friends, and guests in mind. It’s our home away from home!

The home has a well-equipped kitchen, with all the right appliances, and cookware, as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher, microwave, Kcup coffee maker, toaster, mixer, blender, pots-n-pans, etc.

Gas Grill available on the deck for outdoor grilling. Or grab a glass of wine and sit by the Fire Pit in the yard.

The home comes with Internet, Wi-Fi, and cable.

For 4 seasons home, you have access to exploring the Smoky Mountains & Blue Ridge Mountains, shopping, outdoor activities, or just come to relax.

Home is located just a few minutes drive to downtown Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Resort, and 30 minutes from Asheville and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort. There are many attractions, restaurants, breweries, and wineries within 10 - 30 minutes of driving.

The property is surrounded by mountains, trees, and plant life. Due to this natural setting, insects, spiders, bugs, etc. will be seen from time to time around the property. You’ll find yourself immersed in nature. It's not unusual to find small bugs inside, especially if doors are left open. Nothing to worry about. You might spot wild animals from time to time. Such as wild turkeys, groundhogs, chipmunks, rabbits, deer, and even bears. Please do not disturb or feed the animals.

We do have Wood Burning Fire Place, Fire Pit, as well a Gas Grill. If traveling with small children, please use caution and good judgment. Please only use burn clean firewood when using the fireplace and fire pit (NO trash, plastic, paper, etc.)

We want you to come and relax, enjoy what our home has to offer, and just take in your time on the beautiful mountain.

The home is located in a quiet neighborhood. Expect a one-way paved road 2 minutes before arriving at the house and nearby houses on the drive up to our home.

A well-behaved dog may be permitted, provided the dog is crated when left alone. We also require that dogs not be allowed on all beds and furniture. This enables us to continue to offer a home for pets and their families. A non-refundable pet fee of $150 is required prior to arrival. Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog and an additional pet fee will be required to be paid. We will request the additional monies after the reservation is confirmed.

IF ANY PET IS BROUGHT TO THE PREMISES WITHOUT RECEIVING PRIOR APPROVAL AND/OR THE $150 PER PET FEE BEING PAID, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $500 PET PENALTY FOR EACH UNAUTHORIZED PET!!!

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire cabin and be provided with a code to open the front door prior to check in. We have parking in front of the cabin, and can park two cars.

Other things to note
2 Bedrooms and 2 Baths. The house sleeps 4 - 6 comfortably.
Beautiful stone wood burning fireplace.
Primary bedroom with a queen size bed and en-suite bath.
Second bedroom has a full size bed.
Cook a little or a lot; the kitchen is well equipped (Range, Refrigator, Dishwasher, Microwave, Blender, Toaster Oven, Kuerig Coffee Maker, Slow Cooker)

4WD or AWD is highly recommended in the winter months.
Security Cameras is located exterior of the home.
We DO NOT provide fire woods; there are stores and a gas station close by where fire wood can be purchased.
We have a septic tank, therefore, NOTHING can be flushed down the toilet except toilet paper

    Location was great, house was clean with plenty of space. The best fully loaded kitchen we’ve had when making trips up to visit our daughter that goes to WCU.

    close to town but on very small dead end road, almost no traffic, quiet no carpets, all clean floors kitchen has a ton of appliances, real high quality knives, good pots and pans with non-warped bottoms if you have mobility problems, there are stairs to navigate internet works good, TVs are all Roku enabled
