Great Lake House for the Family!

Lake house was perfect for our family trip

My family rented the house for a birthday celebration for my 90 year old Mom. We all had a fabulous time. Accommodations were clean, cozy and so comfortable. View from the house and deck were fantastic. Loved the kayaks and paddle boards. Close to Glen Arbor and all of the area attractions. A quick stop in Traverse City at Sam's Club or Costco to stock up for the week on the way is convenient. The host Marcia was always quick with an answer to any question. Can't wait to book again.

This property is an ice of Heaven. Perfect location , and property included paddle boards and Kayaks. The house came with plenty ty of fans to keep things cool, and a ton of perfect personal touches. The rental had 3 TVs which was perfect t for Olympics watching. The owners were easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Honestly this rental had everything we needed! We will definitely be back!!!

Kitchen sink was clogged when we arrived. Kitchen stunk like a septic tank, sink unusable for the first 4-5 days of our stay. Owners were responsive but plumber did not arrive until day 5 of our stay, hindering our ability to leave the property. My sister stayed at the property for one full day waiting for a plumber that never came. I do believe some sort of refund or compensation is in order. We paid a lot to stay at the property that was not fully functional and spent a lot of precious vacation time dealing with this problem, the owner and the plumber.

Wonderful property. Very well stocked with everything including toys and bikes. Shallow water for kids but you must lather up with products to avoid swimmers itch which unfortunately is common in Glen Lake. It was very warm during our stay but house stayed cool and all bedrooms face the lake for cool breezes

We loved this cottage! The house was fully stocked with everything you need. My kids loved the large yard and lake access. I loved being able to jump right on Alligator Hill Trail almost right from the house.

Beautiful lake and a great house on a large lot. Loved seeing the dunes from the dock. Kids enjoyed the paddle boards and clear shallow water.

Very nice property. Great location, great lake access (though note it is shallow for a long way out from the shore). Very cozy, comfortable house. Bedrooms more comfortable than expected. Lots of outdoor seating options on deck, fire pit, etc. Very small downside of no dishwasher and some imperfect water pressure in the showers, but who cares. Great place for a big family or a couple small families.

Marcia the host was wondering and so helpful. The house and location was perfect for my family. Amazing view of the dunes and sunsets. The lake itself was clear, warm and peaceful. Will definitely return. Highly recommended!
