The house features cathedral ceilings over a large open concept living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with new stainless and new granite countertops. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout the main living area, and the bedrooms are carpeted.
The oversized master bedroom is on the top floor overlooking the living area. There is a twin trundle in the large room which is great for young families. Additionally, it has it's own private bath. Two other bedrooms and a bath round out the main floor.
There is a second living area on the ground floor. The finished heated basement has a pool and fooz-ball tables 52 inch flat screen and wii console. There is also a ski drop area, with tiled floor.
A pair of sliding glass doors open up to a wrap around porch with meadow and peek-a-boo views of Lake Sunapee. Take both of the two kayaks out, and explore the lake.
The home is nestled on close to 3 private acres. This property is a short walk away to a shared beach, and a short bike ride or walk to the State Beach. Newbury Harbor is just up the road dotted with restaurants and shopping. Additionally, the town of New London is a short drive, and has many fine restaurants and cultural activities.
For the cold weather enthusiast, Mount Sunapee is just 2/10 of a mile up the road, offering competitive trails for both skier and snowboarder. When the ground isn't snow covered, the resort is transformed into an adventure park.

Went to NH for family wedding. Location was convenient and very clean Great communication with owner .
Easy check in/out, great communication with owner. House as described. Had all the amenities we needed/expected. Bonus game room downstairs for those rainy days. Would recommend this home and hope to rent again some time.
This house is awesome! So close to the state beach and so quiet, secluded and peaceful! We had a great time and will be back!
We truly had an incredible experience from the booking process to our stay! Aimee is very responsive, friendly and accommodating! Our kids loved the bunk beds and all of the kid-friendly books, games and sundries! We would definitely stay here again!
This home is beautiful very spacious. The lake is very nice and clean, I do wish our pup could've went in the water though. Hope to be back again soon! Thank you so much Aimee & Bill
We were very thankful to have found such a well appointed and spacious place to spend the long weekend. The whole family was very comfortable with 3 levels of space and the home owners were incredibly easy and kind to work with.
This is our second year renting Aimee and Bill's house on Lake Sunapee. The house was perfect for our family consisting of 6 adults. Ample room for everyone to sit and enjoy a meal or seek a quiet spot to read or work. Large, well-appointed kitchen as well as a large deck with grill and plenty of seating. We enjoyed daily use of the 2 kayaks and also hiking on Mt. Sunapee. Aimee is a super host and very responsive. We will most definitely be back!
This is a very good comfortable house with good sized rooms. The master bedroom is by itself upstairs and is huge! It gives privacy and such a comfortable room to relax or read in, or to just step away from the family for a bit of down time. The access to the private beach is a short 4-5 minute walk on a quiet road, or a shortcut through the woods, which was moist because we had a lot of rain. We kayaked quite a lot, and we’re able to just leave our kayaks safely on the beach, which was handy. We kayaked over to the Sunapee State Park, and sometimes just walked 10-15 minutes to it. It had a great playground for youngsters.
Had a wonderful time with the family and the owners were constantly making sure everything was good with our stay!
A lovely house with plenty of fun things to do! For poor weather days, there is a pool table, ping pong, foosball, and plenty of board games to pass the time. On gorgeous days the lake and mountains are right there, so hiking, kayaking, or just lounging by the beach are all perfect and easily available activities. The house is a very private, remote area, but is also 20 minutes from anything you could possibly need. Couldn't recommend more!
