Great Escape: 3 BR, 2 BA Townhouse in Carnelian Bay, Sleeps 8

Quiet location with nice trails that were perfect for walking with the family. Close to the beach, and the grocery store was very nearby. The place was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Instructions were clear, privacy was respected, and both check-in and check-out were easy.Our kids loved staying in the bunk bed room and they loved it! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family dinners, and there were many great restaurants close by as well. We go to Tahoe every year, and this has been the best place we’ve stayed so far. Thank you for the great and fast communication!

However we did have an incident where my granddaughter fractured her fingers a few days before our rental period. We asked to reschedule our stay by a couple of weeks and we were told we would completely forfeit our money and there was no accommodation for emergencies. They did say if they could re rent the property in 2 days we may get some refund. Clearly that is a very low probability. I wish due to an emergency they would have been more accommodating. We were willing to provide proof and pictures. As it was 3 of the 8 people came the 1st day and 3 came the second and we left the 2nd night. We made the best of it but the trip was ruined.

Several cousins met at Lake Tahoe for a reunion. Three couples stayed at our rental. The features offered were wonderful. The only disadvantage were the stairs as they presented a problem for some of our guests. I should have been more aware in selecting the rental. Other than that, we had a great time.

Clean place, easy access, good communication. I plan to be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Everything was clean when we arrived, and the door code worked fine.

Our family loved this property. The location is very quiet, the condo was SUPER clean. Being a germaphobe, that meant a lot to me. We walked to the beach every day. The community pool is huge and lovely, but we only went once because, well, the beach...Property management was easily reachable and helpful. If we ever make it back to Tahoe, we would choose this property again. We did not end up bringing our dog with us, but the location would have been perfect for her as well!
