Gray Barn Getaway - Modern comfort in the heart of NH Lakes & White Mountains

Beautiful property close to North Conway. The owners were excellent and timely in their communications. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The owners even put up a Christmas tree for our holiday stay. We would highly recommend this property!

My wife and I have been doing the house rental getaways for over thirty-five years from Summer Vacations to Christmas Holidays. The Gray Barn Getaway and Host Jane by far have been the Best in all our experiences. The Barn is beautiful in a great and quiet location, all the amenities you would ever needed for a vacation stay were available. Jane provided plenty of places to do a lot of exploring and dining and was the perfect host answering questions and offering tips. We would recommend a stay at the Gray Barn and if we are ever up that way again we would book this home in a heart beat. This getaway home is an absolute gem. The spacious kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, making it perfect for cooking big family meals or casual snacks. The fun game room in the garage adds an extra layer of entertainment, making it easy to relax, play, and make memories. Every corner reflects thoughtful care, blending style, comfort, and pure New Hampshire charm.

The Gray Barn Getaway was perfect! Our hosts communications were timely for both check-in and check-out. We felt super supported if we had a question. Very modern space and included every convenience/amenity one could ever need! The space was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated! Nice touches everywhere! For example, every switch in the house was labeled! Love that! The gourmet kitchen was stunning as well as the bathrooms! The bedrooms were also lovely and super comfortable. The game room was amazing! So many great activities. Honestly, I wish I could live here! LOL!

Check in and check out were easy. The house had all the essentials. It's new construction so everything works. Zero complaints.

We had 6 women coming in from 6 different states celebrating over 35 years of friendship for our stay in this beautiful home! Everything was top notch and in a perfect location to do various activities from relaxing at the lake, to the local Farmers market, to the local Distillery and breweries. Peaceful location with a really well-stocked and nicely laid-out home. Different gathering areas were great for adults and children; the proximity to White Lake State Park is awesome. Great location for day trips, hiking, enjoying the lake and out of the way of the bustle of N. Conway. A nice relaxing place to stay! Host was very communicative and helpful; check-in was super convenient. The game room was fantastic! We loved it!

Wow! We had the best time at this property. We go every winter and often rent a different property every winter on VRBO but I for sure know we will come back to this property! House has everything you may need. The second floor with the living room and open kitchen was perfect for everyone to hang out. The guys loved the heated garage where they were able to watch golf and play pacman! We ended up being there for a snow storm and the owners were very communicative and came to dig us out! Communication with Jane was great, she was very down to earth and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I would absolutely recommend this property to others. Tamworth is a true hidden gem! The house is very high tech and new but dont let that sway you from renting this property! There are QR codes to help you with anything that is electronic! Thanks Jane and Roe!

This has been one of the most enjoyable stays I’ve had at any VRBO. The house was absolutely perfect in every way. Any one thing you could think about or want was there and available for use. Top of the line appliances and well-thought and placed small amenities made our lives so easy and enjoyable. We loved every minute of our stay. We would definitely rent again.

Top-notch design and layout at this very new house. Exceptionally well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was super clean and in tiptop working order. While full-featured with very current technologies, no issues encountered at all - digital key pad, lighting controls, thermostat, fireplace, and firepit. Isn’t that a lynchpin of luxury? I would not hesitate staying here again!

This home and experience was spectacular. It was clean and beautiful. It was chalked full of amenities that made our stay easy and memorable. It has board games, corn hole, four in a row. The fire pit was a smokeless solo type and was stocked with firewood and many camp chairs. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking full meals. We were in NH for our daughter’s wedding and these accommodations made everything better. Wine fridges, temperature controls that worked, beautiful showers. Communication with Jane was easy and responsive. If you are looking for extraordinary, this is the place.

The house is beautiful. So many thoughtful and wonderful details. Very comfortable with lots of space for family time and fun. Jane made sure our stay was perfect!

This house was everything I could have wanted, as well as everything I didn't know I wanted, in a house. The attention to detail in the house design was amazing. And the property owners were just as amazing. They were easy to reach and quick to reply to all correspondences. I have never been so impressed from beginning to end. I look forward to returning!

I was at a three day event at Club Motorsports and this barn is a 5min drive. The barn is new and the owner created a beautiful setting. My wife was working remotely while I was driving and was very happy with the wifi and setting.

Our group (five adults and two children) stayed here over the 4th of July. The house was beautiful; our group kept commenting on the level of detail that had gone in to furnishing the house and it was clear that the hosts really thought through what would be useful for people coming to stay. Many other rentals like this have only the bare minimum (especially when it comes to kitchen) but every time we thought we might need something, it was there! Jane, the host, was ever accommodating and available. She also let us know about various holiday goings-on to help us plan our time there. It was the small touches throughout that made our stay incredibly relaxing - the welcome basket that included 4th of July glow bracelets for our kids was an adorable touch. It was easy to check-in and start our vacation. We are already talking about if we can plan to come back again next year!

So much to say! This was our first stay with Vrbo, and we were truly blown away by this experience! We were looking for a place to stay for our daughter’s wedding and fell upon The Gray Barn Getaway which was a new listing and therefore we’d be the first guests-no previous reviews. We took a leap of faith based on photos and the communication we had with the host Jane- I could tell she was warm, attentive, and responsive, so we went for it and booked the property- we are so glad we did! Everything was pristine, so much attention to detail. We felt so welcomed as soon as you walk in to the landing area. Besides your personal belongings you would need for a trip, everything was thought of with such care and available if you forgot something at home- it felt like we were house sitting a families house- everything was already there for our use, it was truly amazing and a breath of fresh air that these hosts put so much thought, energy, time, and trust to leaving a place so perfect to be loved by others. We wanted to stay longer! We were welcomed with a personalized note and welcome basket. Our host Jane was so thoughtful, I knew we made a good choice the day we were traveling she sent a note for safe travels. She was warm, friendly and ALWAYS responsive whenever we had a question or comment to share- this is a huge plus! The rooms were all so spacious the kids played hide and seek! We made so many memories and would 100% recommend and stay again! We loved it, thank you!
