Granny’s Kitchen bed & breakfast.

The only thing had called as heater thermostat was not working. Fixed within a few hours. The refrigerator made a knocking noise and needs to be fixed. But the Breakfast was great! Enjoyed the stay!

The price was good and the breakfast at the restaurant was good. The bed was creaky and uncomfortable and the AC seemed insufficient.

We stayed a couple of nights while attending a family gathering near Huntsville. The property was conveniently located and very comfortable. A big bonus is Granny’s Kitchen, which is next door—excellent food (especially the pies)!!

Keep scrolling passed this rental! We arrived and check-in was good. Opened the door to a horrible musty, mildew smell. We thought we could air it out. Tried the a/c and only discovered 1 window unit. Questioned the property manager about central air. He replied window units only meaning plural. There is ONE only for the whole house. It's not enough for 90+ degree weather. We turned it on & left hoping it would be ok & the horrid smell would go away. Got back late that evening, opened the door and the smell hadn't even lightened up. We took our hanging clothes back to our pickup so they wouldn't smell like the house. The cleanliness was not good. The water pressure was not good & you had to run the water for a while so the brown would clear some. We did not drink it. If you have much hair at all don't use much shampoo because you'll be there a while. We tried to stay & tough it out but after the first night of trying to sleep in the heat, we decided to leave. There is several things wrong with this property that could easily be fixed. We contacted the manager about our complaints & to let him know we were forced to leave because of the conditions. That was before 11:00a.m. the day after check-in. It's been 2 days ago & we still have not heard from him. We asked for the 2 nights stay refunded that we couldn't stay because of the conditions. Apparently he doesn't care. Tried VRBO. They are no help either. We highly do NOT recommend!!
