This little house was amazing! Beautiful and quiet. We had a great, long, and restful weekend. We are planning to return and would highly recommend. The host Gary was super to work with!
I planned a girls weekend in and around Bedford. The house was 15-20 minutes away. Everything was just a described and better. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the back deck in the morning and the fire pit at night. The owner was friendly and helpful, he provided easy instructions for entering the house and connecting to the WiFi. And he was quick to respond to any questions I had . We will be back. Thank you, Gary, for sharing “Grandma’s house” with us.
Great place-really cozy and super clean! All you need to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. There's even a replica antique wooden record player/stereo to enjoy some vintage tunes. Very close to a lot of attractions, yet the home is in a quiet, secluded area. Would love to stay again.
We enjoyed our stay at Grandma's House! It was a quiet, secluded setting and made for a perfect getaway. Gary was a wonderful host. He even stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. Hope to come back again to enjoy the firepit.
As advertised. Enjoyed my time there. A larger bed would have been nice.
My wife and I spent only one night in this house on the way from West Virginia to New Jersey. The house is located in a very quite and picturesque place where you can fully enjoy the nature. It has everything that is needed for a comfortable rest. Another very important thing is the friendly attitude of the host. He contacted several times prior to our arrival, was nearby when we came to the property to provide helpful explanations, and came to ask about our experience when we were leaving on the next day. We would be happy to stay at this place if there is a necessity to visit the area in the future.
A home away from it all...and I mean all of it.Super quiet n away from people wich is exactly what we wanted. Its everything its advertised to be.The internet/streaming tv is slow but this isnt why you rent this place.Beautiful scenery and less hustle n bustle is.I recommend it highly if this is what you're after.Gary is a gracious and attentive host without being overbearing.
We were only stopping through but loved our time here- coffee on the deck overlooking the forest was perfect.
The place is great and exactly as described. It is a quiet country home near a creek on a small rural road. We were staying there at the end of our camping trip so it was nice to have a real AC, shower, washer, etc. Its not a luxury accommodation, but it doesn't claim to be. Its a quiet country home that would be comfortable for a lot longer than the couple nights we spent there. The owner was great and very responsive to the couple questions we had.
Great place to relax in the woods, with all comfort inside and lots to do outside.
